Happy New Year! 🎉 It's been lovely to have a little time off for the holidays, but now we're straight back to it, starting with inviting you all to our Winter Wedding Fayre! It's taking place on SATURDAY 12th JANUARY 2019 and doors are open 11:00am until 3:00pm. There's no need to book or register - simply head on in when you arrive! It's the perfect opportunity to have a good nosey around the Barn and accommodation, as well as being able to meet us, our caterers, and a handful of our fave suppliers! See you there! xx

Today is a really emotional day for me here at the Barn as it is my last day. After 7.5 years here I am leaving the Barn at 5.30pm for the last time. I have loved my time here and will always look back with amazing memories and am very sad to go, but sometimes you get an opportunity you just need to take. The girls here are all my best friends and I know will keep being fantastic and look after everyone with the care and attention to detail that I have drummed in...to them :)
If you are getting married here - I know you will have the best day of your life. If you got married here - I am pleased you still think we are interesting enough to keep following us! If you are a supplier - thank you for making our jobs easy by being amazing - and if you are considering booking here - BOOK IT you will not regret it for a second!

We put our trust in my parents to choose a venue for our Wedding as we were overseas at the time. They came back to us and highly recommended the barn, not only because of the amazing venue and beautiful scenery but also because of Lauren who was so cheerful, helpful and friendly. We were right to trust them, the barn was incredible and Lauren helped us through every step of the process, nothing was too much trouble and she was always happy to help. It was just so easy and we couldn't be happier. Thank you to Lauren and everyone else at the barn for giving us the best day imaginable xx

We had our wedding here on Tuesday 22nd August. I don't even know where to begin! The venue is absolutely gorgeous - all of our guests commented on how wonderful it was. We wanted a laid back atmosphere for our day, and The Great Tythe Barn was perfect. Everything being in one place, from the ceremony to the accommodation, meant that we could relax and all of our guests could too. The GTB staff were amazing, from our initial viewing to the day itself. They supported and guided us every step of the way. Nothing was too much trouble and the day ran smoothly thanks to their staff & the staff at Fosters Events Catering. Our day was an absolute dream and I couldn't have wished for anything more perfect! Thank you all x

We had our wedding here on Monday 17th April and I honestly couldn't have had a better day! The venue and staff are amazing and from start of planning up until right at the end of our night nothing was too big of an ask! Hannah is just wonderful and kept me calm in the time running up to seeing my now husband stood at the end of the aisle! I honestly couldn't rate this venue high enough! So from my husband and myself we'd just like to say a massive thank you for making my first day as Mrs Dixon absolutely perfect!

We had our wedding at the Great Tythe Barn back in February and it was the most amazing weekend. We hired out the venue, house and all the cottages for our guests and it was amazing to have everyone so close to enjoy the special day. The venue it self is just beautiful and works so well for photos, when its raining outside! The girls though Becky, Lauren, Rhoda and all the bar staff are just so helpful and wonderful to work with. Nothing is too much trouble for them and they make the whole experience just so enjoyable and fun! I can not recommend this venue enough to have your wedding at, from start to finish its been amazing. Its a shame its all over! We will be back though to visit everyone!

The staff are just fantastic, from the very first point of contact they were helpful and knowledgable. They were so patient during the planning process and answered every (of many!) question put to them. The day itself was perfect, all our guests loved the venue and the staff went above and beyond to make every happy. I'm so happy we had our big day here, it was our dream wedding!

Both Rebecca & Hannah have been an absolute pleasure to work with when organising our wedding, nothing is too much trouble & whenever we've been stuck for ideas they've helped by pointing us in the right direction. The relaxed attitude they have made everything so much easier for us.



Now being on our honeymoon we cannot stop talking about our wedding & how brilliant it was. We just loved it!



If you want to get married in a beautiful barn that has amazing staff, then The Great Tythe Barn is the place for you. We cannot recommend it enough.

We got married at the GTB on the 28th March 2015. My wife and I had a brilliant time, with the day running seamlessly. All of our guests commented on how great a wedding it was. We would like to thank the GTB staff and Bex in particular, for helping our big day to run so smoothly. They were all friendly, helpful and strive for excellence. They have great local contacts for catering, flowers, music and evening entertainment.mIf you are looking to get married, then you can't beat this place. The barn itself is absolutely gorgeous, the staff are brilliant and the on site accommodation is stunning. Just watch out for the hangover after!!

We got married at The Great Tythe Barn on Saturday and can't speak highly enough of the beautiful venue, accommodation and staff that work there.



Nothing was ever too much trouble from the day we first viewed the barn with Becca to the day of the wedding where we had a beautiful frosting of snow on the roof of the barn.



As soon as we walked into the barn on that first appointment we knew it was the most beautiful place and we would get married there.



We received so many compliments over the weekend of our wedding about how perfect and beautiful a venue it was and how amazing the accommodation was, the maltings being the perfect place to host a pre wedding party the night before and night caps after the last dance the evening of the wedding.



Kiln cottage which sleeps two and we used as the honeymoon cottage is perfectly placed... tucked out of the way so that the bride won't be seen but with a view of the barn so she can watch from a distance the team working tirelessly to set it up whilst getting ready with her bridesmaids and flower girls.



Amazing venue, amazing team, and not only that but amazing relationships with their recommended suppliers, we almost exclusively used people off this tried and tested list and none of them disappointed and I'd expect nothing less from this amazing team and venue!

We attended a wedding here & due to my gluten & dairy intolerances I am always worried about what I may end up eating, but I have never had such excellent food. I was able to have the same as everyone else for the most part because it was alergy free. Which makes all the difference. I was given a slightly different sauce & bread, & my desert was to die for ! I had never tasted chocolate so delicious even when I ate the real thing before finding out about it was not suitable. Nothing was too much trouble & the place was very beautiful. Perfect.

There really are no words to describe how amazing this venue is, a picturesque barn and Manor House set in the beautiful Cotswold countryside it really is perfect in every single way. Thank you to all the wedding planning team, behind the scenes staff and to anyone who helped and made our Magical day a reality. Myself and Danielle shall cherish every memory for the rest of our lives. Thank you xx

The perfect venue for a wedding. We stayed in one of the cottages for 2 nights. The cottage (Churn) was lovely especially the little added touches. It was very clean and cosy. The Great Tythe Barn was beautiful as was the rest of the venue.

I'd definitely recommend coming here if you are looking for a picture perfect wedding venue.

Myself and my husband got married here on 7th November 2015 and it was just amazing! From the first contact Rebecca and Lauren were so helpful, professional and friendly. No question or random query was to much for them, and they were there to help every step of the way. The venue itself is breathtaking and was exactly what myself and my partner were looking for. The whole day ran smoothly and I felt so relaxed and calm thanks to Rebecca making sure everything ran smoothly on the day. We and our guests had an amazing day and loved every minute of it, would highly recommend the venue for anyone looking for a beautiful venue for their wedding.

My sister has just had her wedding here (yesterday) and the whole experience has been perfect from the whole team who have been so supportive and helpful, the grounds and garden are beautiful and well looked after, the cottages and BnB are comfortable and have everything u need, it's a few minutes drive from the village which is very handy with a local Co op etc. My sister and brother in law had the reception in the barn which was spacious and is easily accessible for everyone. The children were more then happy with the animals and plenty of space to play. The Great Tythe Barn really does have the "wow" factor, they couldn't have picked a more perfect location for their wedding.

My husband and I got married here on Saturday 16th September this year (yay!) and want to do it all again! The venue itself is just beautiful and all of our guests commented on just how gorgeous it is. The staff here are absolutely fantastic, particularly Rebecca with whom nothing was ever too much trouble - you superstar! The catering staff at Fosters were also fantastic and you both worked together seamlessly. Thank you to you all for allowing Sam and I to host our dream wedding and for all of your help and contributions. We'd recommend this venue over and over again! Xx

My granddaughter got married yesterday. What a great place the Great Tythe Barn is. It was the icing on the cake to make the day perfect for us all. I loved the peaceful setting on the lawns amongst the flower borders. The staff were most important as the part they played in the very professional and well organised way they dealt with the proceedings. The photographer was kept very busy especially gaining the children's attention. I cannot thank you all enough for making Jasmine and Joe's day that extra special.

Got married here yesterday and absolutely loved every minute of it. It was the first venue we looked and fell in love with it. It's a beautiful place and the staff are so friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
