Great pub for railway nostalgia. Tucked away behind Wolverhampton railway station but worth the effort to visit it. Good range of beers etc

One of the best traditional pubs in the area, if not the country. The Black Country beers (Holdens, Bathams) on offer are always top notch!

Probably my favourite pub in the country. Obviously it helps if you love Holdens and Bathams beers, which are all served in excellent condition at good prices/ The epitomy of unspoilt, tucked away in isolation behind the railway and canal. Bright conservatory extension and suntrap small garden. Decent range of pubgrub

A good selection of local and guest beers. The quality of the beer here is outstanding and a credit to the landlord. I can't vouch for all the food, but I had the large beef stew. It's basic, just a large bowl of homemade stew with some crusty bread, but yummy.

Great Western is found just a few minutes walk from Wolverhampton station. Try it out if you have an hour to spare between connections. Serves real ale and traditional black Country fare
