About The Greater Garstang Partnership Board

The Greater Garstang Partnership Board was established to provide a collaborative effort between key stakeholders in and around Garstang, to facilitate a vibrant future for the Town and surrounding villages. The Board includes representatives from Wyre Council, Lancashire County Council, Lancashire Enterprise Partnership, Lancaster University and Lancashire Constabulary. Parish Councils will be represented by long standing Catterall Parish Councillor Dave Sharples, the Secretary of the Wyre Area Committee and the Board will benefit from the support of Ben Wallace MP. Other Board members lead the following theme areas: High Street – Naomi Walker (Bombshell Betty, Garstang) and Laura Winnard (Carr's Jewellers)Heritage and Culture – Alan Cornthwaite (Garstang and District Heritage Society)Transport – Jane Cole (Blackpool Transport)Education and Skills - Jackie Hough (Myerscough College)Community – Danielle Freaney Residential – Steve Newsham (Regenda)Sustainability and Low Carbon – Dr Leo Bourikas (Lancaster University)Health and Wellbeing – Helen Kerrigan Hawkes (Garstang Medical Practice)Technology and Digital – Awaiting AppointmentBusiness and Economy – Mick Gornall (Towers and Gornall)
