We love the second Tuesday of every month the vintage car club come and there are some fantastic motors 😊

This weekend we’ve got a fantastic Fish Pie on our special board. Served with a new potato and green bean salad. Come get it before it runs out!

What a great weekend here, two big BBQ's one in the campsite and one on the back terrace every one have loads of fun in the sun 😎

What a lovely birthday find! We stumbled upon this little gem on our way to Chipping Norton. I had chicken breast stuffed with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. It was one of the tastiest dishes I have ever had. I didn't want the dining experience to end. Every mouthful was just flavoursome. We will definitely come back!



Ample parking, polite staff, wood fires and good ale. Perfect!

Went last Sunday to celebrate our sons 16th birthday. Eleven of us, three generations all mightily impressed with everything. Lovely pub, great service, exquisite food. Best roast beef I've had since returning from Canada! Well done everyone and congrats on an outstanding venue!

We stayed at their campsite for two nights with our dog. The pub was very friendly, great service, good beer and fab food. The camping facilities are basic, a couple of showers (that could do with sprucing up a bit) and use of the pub loos but electric hookups are included and it's fine enough for a short stop. Would stay again or just pop in for food.

We popped in after passing the pub visiting Rollright Stones, didn't know what to expect but we know for sure if we are in the area or nearby we'll definitely pay this charming place another visit. 3 course meal ordered, lush. The server was a hit with us adults and our children, joking around but offered professional services. I'm picky with my sticky toffee pudding and am pleased to say theirs hit the spot just right, I feel the clotted cream ice cream gave the pudding that bit more decadence. Plates licked clean! Looking forward to visiting again.

We had such a lovely roast dinner here last Sunday. My 6 year old son had roast beef and the portion size was very good. We really enjoyed our meal. Thank you

Very nice pub wish it was closer to where we live but stopped at it for lunch on the way back from Southampton good food and staff were very friendly

Very nice pizzas (2 for 1 on Wednesday) and super steak pies. The vege that came with the pie was so simple but great, that we ordered another separate portion of it!

This pub is amazing!! We've just spent 2 nights in the campsite and can't fault anything. Staff lovely, welcoming, funny...... and the food is delicious. A wonderful place..... Thankyou for a great weekend xx

Really nice food and great guitar tunes playing in the background, plus very friendly staff, way better than your normal pub meal and competively priced

Myself and two friends had Sunday lunch here.

The food and service was very high quality.

We all had pork dinners. Couldn't fault it.

My friend had ice cream for dessert. ( I personally think £5.50 for 3 scoops of chocolate ice cream was a bit excessive. )

The pub is a beautiful country pub.

We found it a bit cold so ate our food and left.

Some people we actually eating their lunch with their coats on.

I'd definitely go there again if I'm in the area.

Lovely couple running this pub/restaurant which by the way is superb and very accommodating and very good campsite!! Loved my Pizza reminded me of Italy! Would highly recommend. Had a fantastic weekend thank you both and your staff for working so hard.

Found this place whilst staying locally. The food we had for dinner was so delicious we came back again to try other options on a different night. Lovely, friendly staff. Wish this was local to me!

Brought my family here today for Sunday Lunch, delicious food and staff so attentive and friendly, so rare to see these days, we will definitely be back.

Always a good sign when the car park is full on a Sunday.



Having attended a wedding here ( the food was extremely good)



We decided to book for a family birthday lunch, again the food was flavoursome plenty of it, 2 member that we're eating are very funny about food but their plates we clear by the end.



Puddings we're very tasty, would highly recommend this venue for any occasion as it catered for all.

A great country pub and restaurant venue with a friendly atmosphere and great burgers.



The portions were decent, the quality superb and the prices were very reasonable.



If you like burgers, you may be tempted by the option of going beyond the traditional burger; I had to find out how a duck burger combined with Brie, but was filled with food envy when my other half had burger heaven presented in front of her.



My burger was good, but hers was great!



Also, if you like gin, you need to try the Cotswolds gin. Mmmm mmm mmm.

Pleasant staff, generally good food, but an extremely uninspiring chicken Caesar salad. A few leaves, greasy croutons, a splash of dressing, the equivalent of less than half a chicken breast. I think I just made a bad choice.
