Dan is getting busy putting up floating shelves for us. Home DIY which is proving to be a real feature area in the house. I can't wait to sand and stain them all. We don't have any window sills so it will be lovely to look after some house plants and give them a home here 🌱

Snowdrop Sunday!
We came back from our week away and mother nature has created beautiful snow drops all around the garden! Even when you think the weather may be too harsh, ground too hard and days may be bleak, nature still finds a way... Making these little flowers gems in the rough. Breaking through when not much else is around to keep them company they really do shine!

Food Friday!
We are back and what a great week away it was... Finding out new ways to put dishes together and search out markets for food. We loved the challenge of eating out on the slopes and cooking up a storm for dinner. Stuffing our ski gear with broccoli florets, mushrooms and cabbage to ski across the Alps to make sure we had veg with our meal was a highlight! Dan and I found gnocchi, quinoa, basmati rice, curry powder, thyme and so much more... So much choice to co...njure up our suppers. We even found Oreos which were great with fruit purée 😉
We had a very welcoming hot chocolate with soya milk on the slopes. Chips and a green box which we asked for with guacamole... Yum
For breakfast we would soak oats over night with seeds and nuts, dates, apricots and prunes! Perfect energy food for the day ahead hitting the mountains.
We ate a delicious, hearty vegetable soup and loved their fresh bread.
Most of our evening meals we cooked with a base of curry powder or veg stock adding fresh vegetables to the grains to keep our protein, carbs, vits and mineral levels up.
Having thought we would be dining on frites all week we were really proud with the meals we put together and it sure made for an awesome time away.

Snowy mountains, skiing, fresh air and soul cleansing for us this Sunday! What an awesome first day to our week off together. 🗻
We skied from Champoussin to Morzine and back to experience the range of the slopes and it has been the most incredible vista. I stopped so many times to soak it all in. Our planet is beautiful!

First food Friday of 2019!
Thank you @samantha.maria.yates for the delicious banana cake you gave us for Christmas, we accompanied the cake with Swedish Glace Dairy Free Ice Cream chocolate ice-cream! I love banana and chocolate flavours together 😍 Thanks also to @rachelraisie for the incredible hazelnut Booja-Booja chocolates! We love them and I'm savouring every piece 🤩
... Dan made the most flavoursome smokey, cream sauce for the recipe of a mushroom stroganoff... It reminded me of carbonara. I haven't had a sauce like that for 10 years so thank you @frommybowl for giving my husband the inspiration for this awesome vegan dish!
It was my great friend @jencotto87 birthday on New year's Eve so I conjured up Bosh 'ultimate chocolate fudge cake' to share... Wow what you can create with such little ingredients! Cheers
One of our clients brought us one of their homegrown butternut squash as a new year gift... Seriously the biggest squash I've ever seen and it's so yummy! We made a Dahl adding in the butternut squash which added a great twist. So grateful XX
Love a bit of avocado with marmite on toasted rye bread!
Dan's mum looked in this evening whilst we have been packing for our skiing adventure bringing with her the best orange scone I've ever tasted and a loaf of freshly baked bread! She has a wonderful knack for baking 😘
We made sure we ate lots of green leafy vegetables this week so smashed out the broccoli and spinach adding sweet potato mash, peas, potato rounders, veggie burgers and sausages... Kept us going for sure! Great to stock up on veg 🌱

Without you all The Greenhouse Spa Retreat would not be what it is today and we are truly grateful.
... Every gift voucher bought, spa day enjoyed, glamping night experienced, hot tub, sauna and fire pit delighted in and spa treatments indulged, to know we have been able to create a tranquil space for you has been a pleasure.
2018 saw the redesign of Redwoods interior, glamping toilet and shower block 'Rose and Willow' were built along with our new pod 'Wollemia'. The path network around the garden was recreated allowing the new entrance and car park to all link up. We rebuilt the hot tub area to add two more showers, now being able to run from the solar thermal panels, not forgetting building the barrel sauna and tree shower too! Also adding the two toilet sheds for the spa called 'Bill and Ben' and carpeting the treatment rooms. The Kara had a revamp to be able to host our Pop-Up dinners and Spa Day guests... it really has been an incredible year and we can't wait to crack on with new winter renovations for you all to enjoy next year.

We joined in a Christmas lunch and were really happy with the Waitrose Christmas Pudding with Alpro custard! ... Also enjoying a lovely ginger cake at the Earthcafe.

Wow!!! What an absolutely amazing experience we had today and in such idyllic surroundings x thankyou so much x we will definitely be coming back x

What a wonderful couple of nights we had here! Dan and Victoria were so accomodating, nothing was ever too much trouble, particularly when it came to our six month old. We even managed an evening in the hot tub while she snoozed in the treatment rooms nearby! Set in a beautiful garden and we had everything we needed in the Cornish quarry wagon, Redwood. So cosy and the perfect glamping experience. I was lucky enough to have a full body massage too which was so relaxing - birds tweeting and horses neighing in the background! The perfect getaway for some peace and tranquility - we definitly hope to return again and again! Xx

We had a lovely stay at The Greenhouse Spa in the Redwood with a spa day, it was so relaxing and the massage was one of the best we've had. Victoria and Daniel went to so much effort to make everything perfect for us, even baking our favourite cakes for our afternoon tea, which were delicious! We also loved the personalised food hamper they provided us with local and homegrown produce to cook a brunch. We will definitely be recommending them to our friends and family, thanks again for a lovely time.

This retreat is incredible!! Me and my husband went for our wedding anniversary. So beautiful and peaceful. I had a Cornish head massage and facial this was the best experience I've had, my husband had a full body massage and we've been to several spa but this by far is the best. A professional couple that run it are mega friendly and try to meet your needs to the best they can. Highly recommend to everyone that want luxury at a great price. This place is a hidden gem, absolutely amazing gardens and views and Daniel and Victoria are simply the best hosts and masseurs. The pod we stayed in "Juniper" was extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for a nights glamping.

We cannot recommend this retreat enough if you just want to relax and chill out with each other, we will definitely be returning soon.

So relaxing...loved glamping in cosy Juniper in the middle of this magical garden. Reading in the afternoon sun hearing birds and the wind in the trees along with neighbouring horses playing was gorgeous. A hot tub as the evening crept in was bliss. And the spa was wonderful - gentle, nourishing treatments. Dan and Victoria are lovely, welcome hosts, happy to help make my stay fantastic (not to mention my skin and nails!). So for my Birthday I was treated to an appointment with Victoria for a full body Pregnancy massage.

I can't put into words how amazing my massage was.....

To start with the spa, views and the surroundings were breathtaking.

I felt so relaxed and at ease, to the point I could have quite easily fallen asleep.

Victoria made me feel so comfortable before and during my treatment, really lovely lady.

I've had massages and facials in the past and this one by far tops them all.

There's no hustle and bustle of a salon atmosphere, it's so calm and tranquil. The products are all organic and smell delicious.

I would highly recommend "The GreenHouse Spa Retreat" to anyone and I will for sure be returning.

We stayed in the redwood and had such an amazing stay with a wood fire at night and a lovely relaxing dip in the hot tub!

Definitely the best place to go to get away from the kids and have some adult time!

Just returned from a lovely two night break here with my partner. Very hidden and not obvious to where it was on arrival but completely understand the owner's reasons for doing so. Very friendly arrival and shown around the large very beautiful garden after being shown to our accommodation. It was very clean and tidy with all the amenities you would need. We also booked the hot tub which was very reasonable and an added luxury. Victoria and Dan were so lovely and friendly we will definitely visit again :)

Just got back from a lovely evening spent here! I had a facial, and literally came out floating. My partner had a massage and also came out feeling very good! Topped it off with a lovely hot tub! We unfortunately messed Victoria and dan around by not be able to make our morning appointment, but they went out of there way to accommodate us, and did a very good job at it! I would recommend this place very highly such lovely people and a beautiful place to visit! And even came home with a little snack box from the amazing afternoon tea! Thankyou x

I have been using the Greenhouse Resort regularly for over a year now. I cannot recommend them enough.

I recently had a spa day which was fabulous, the setting is incredible and the cream tea was delicious.

I also used Victoria for my wedding make-up. She did a fantastic job, she listened to what I wanted and was a pleasure to be around on the morning of my wedding.

I feel the treatments are very reasonably priced and I never leave disappointed.

I had the most wonderful, relaxing pregnancy massage this morning. Just what I needed at 38 weeks pregnant. I have spent the rest of my day in bed really relaxing all my muscles. Highly recommend getting a pregnancy massage to anyone that is expecting. And I will certainly be going back to have other treatments after I've had my baby. All I can say is if your pregnancy massage is that good. I can't wait to have a normal massage, Thank you to both Victorias who made me feel very welcome. Went down for an afternoon tea and massage, Victoria and Dan are the best hosts and we could not ask for any more.

Had a fabulous spa day today celebrating a friends birthday, we were greeted by the lovely Victoria who showed us around their fantastic garden and told us about some of the things they get up to there, we then had a dip in the jacuzzi followed by a massage each and then ended the afternoon with a high tea, everything was so perfect in every way I would highly recommend Victoria and Dan’s Cornish hide away.

Amazing place a real little gem, Dan and Victoria made us feel so welcome great value for money .We arrived early and the lovely neighbour Ken showed us around his garden to pass away the time wonderful gardens and he even supplied us with fresh beans.

We cant wait to return.

Amazing one night here in Redwood, upcycled so lovingly well to be a perfect Eden just in Cornwall. We will be back. The Greenhouse Spa retreat what an amazing place with truly amazing people, Dan, Victoria and his mum Linda, are so inspirational and have made a calm and peaceful oasis here, where you can truly unwind and relax amongst the trees. The garden, 30 years in the making from an open field, feels as though it has been there for ever and has come together in a beautiful way. We had a great stay with a massage and 2 hot tub sessions and felt relaxed and invigorated. The Redwood Lodge is a great place to stay and we will definitely be back as it is always great to find like minded people and remember you are part of a tribe. Many thanks

Had a fantastic experience at the green house spa today.

Went down for an afternoon tea and massage, Victoria and Dan are the best hosts and we could not ask for any more.

From the time we turned up to the time we left nothing was to much trouble.

Had a fabulous spa day today celebrating a friends birthday, we were greeted by the lovely Victoria who showed us around their fantastic garden and told us about some of the things they get up to there, we then had a dip in the jacuzzi followed by a massage each and then ended the afternoon with a high tea, everything was so perfect in every way I would highly recommend Victoria and Dan’s Cornish hide away.

Amazing place a real little gem, Dan and Victoria made us feel so welcome great value for money .We arrived early and the lovely neighbour Ken showed us around his garden to pass away the time wonderful gardens and he even supplied us with fresh beans.

We cant wait to return.

Amazing one night here in Redwood, upcycled so lovingly well to be a perfect Eden just in Cornwall. We will be back. The Greenhouse Spa retreat what an amazing place with truly amazing people, Dan, Victoria and his mum Linda, are so inspirational and have made a calm and peaceful oasis here, where you can truly unwind and relax amongst the trees. The garden, 30 years in the making from an open field, feels as though it has been there for ever and has come together in a beautiful way. We had a great stay with a massage and 2 hot tub sessions and felt relaxed and invigorated. The Redwood Lodge is a great place to stay and we will definitely be back as it is always great to find like minded people and remember you are part of a tribe. Many thanks
