me n my partner went today had the lunch time specials. 3 courses amazing value. starter prawn cocktail hunters chicken ham egg n chips apple pie chocfudge cake n loads custard. lovely hot food tasted beautiful. few drinks and custard to die for well be back soon.

Went and had the steak and peas and chips and onion ring special, by god it was special as well.

Each chip was fluffier than the last and the steak tasted like an angel was crying on me tongue.

The peas and onion rings were a happy combination and to top it all off the young lad behind the bar, Bradley I think his name was, was attentive and dare I say the best looking in there.



All in all it was unbelievable Jeff.

We had different meals and all were lovely :-) hunter's chicken, hunter's steak and scampi. Really nice staff and atmosphere too :-)

We attended the Halloween magic show last night and the children all thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of lovely buffet food and brilliant entertainment. Look forward to the Christmas parties �

I visited The Greensides the other night with a few of my family. I really feel I have to comment on your barman John what a really nice guy it was a pleasure to be served by him and he had great knowledge of all the products he needs a big pat on the back .

Food was lovely best pub meal I've had for a while, staff were friendly. The waitress was fab she was tryin to encourage my little girl to eat her food ..... will defo be back and will also recommend to friends and family ... prices were cheap and very good value for money

Food is amazing steak cooked to perfection everything piping hot staff friendly nice warm atmosphere definitely will be returning thank you for hospitality

Buttermilk chicken burger with sweet chilli mayo and cheese is absolutely beautiful will be back again, lovely friendly atmosphere, my son enjoyed playing in the play area and playing on the mini TVs why we had our lunch which is brill to entertain the little ones ☺️

Amazing food. Best food I've ever had. Cocktails were amazing and such a wifde selection. Decent prices and the comedy night was amazing. Never laughed so much in my life!!

barman was lovely .... even tho he was on his own and it was quite busy for a monday i had chicken snitzel which was really nice my daughter had hunters chicken pie which came with a free drink as it was Monday and there are different offers on each night .... we shared a bottle of house white and the bill was just over £20 for everything .... bargain �

There was 4 adults and we had the 3 course meal special and I can assure everyone it was definitely value for money � .

I thoroughly enjoyed my mushrooms � followed by cottage pie and apple crumble ...

we also got 4 drinks all for under £32... fab value and tasty food for the price

2 course lunch 4 75 had 2 eggs 2 slices of ham and chips plus chocolate fudge cake with cream for desert was very enjoyable and plenty of it spot on

Walked out after waiting 15 mins at the bar waiting to be served, one bar staff and one waitress....terrible service definitely won’t go back

Total crap. Food was dry and tasted microwaved and old..... a week later we tried again... just incase chef was having a bad day.. there were 15 of us wanting food. We had a 6 yr with us, but because of the waiting time for the food to come out. It took us past the 7pm deadline for children... therefore we would have had to leave before the food actually arrived.... they were not interested at all. So we all went to the Lodge where food was amazing and staff very willing to put tables together for us at the last minute... won't step foot in Greensides again.....

Never have I had such a crap meal went 11th Jun how the he'll can a chef be happy to send food like that out my lass had pulled pork dish it looks like dog crap it taste like crap my self had chess pie all was frozen to start with best thing about this places was leaving this places chef my back side to be honist it's the worces food iv had how long be for you chef poison some one call your self a chef your a joke no chef would put thear name to the crap you sent out to day will never go in thear again ps sort the buckets in male toilet s

Horrible tasting, bland chips, rubbery eggs, disgusting beans and a flat Stella, and when we told the waitress, she said she would tell the manageress, who came to clear glasses from tables around but never gave us so much asan apology. Not back. Very disappointed.

Had Christmas lunch here today, was totaly disgusting! 4 adults, 2 children. Very dissapointed! Cheap frozen microwaved veg not cooked properly. Rock hard stuffing ball. Undercooked pigs in blankets. No warm welcome, rubbish service! At £35 per head, we expected better! Oh by the way kids under 5 supposedly eat free because they dont get food to eat! �

Completely inept. Mess up a food order and then takeaway the plate when the person is halfway through eating it. What a bizarre situation. There's a reason I don't frequent this dump anymore.
