Busy town centre food pub located just off Blandford's market place. Pool table, regular live music - this was the original home for the popular Teddy Rocks charity music festival.

14 of us for Sunday lunch. Amazing food and superb staff. You MUST visit this pub. Extremely family friendly too.

User

Excellent steak and ale pie and very friendly staff

A nice olde worlde pub/restaurant with a good range of ales, lagers and the usual wines and spirits. Originally a 'coaching house' ( a latter days motel) it is best reached through an archway into its yard and what would have been stables area. ( Now having a few retail outlets and a Morrisons supermarket) The interior maintains a rural theme with cartwheels and old farming implements. A large room with a giant dining table + comfortable chairs and several other 4 seaters. Sky tv on two screens (I was there to watch football on a chilly night) and complemented by a fiery log-burning stove.

I had a Very pleasant visit with the aid of Tanglefoot ale.

The roast was tasty but the service shocking. Took over 30 minutes to get a desert despite chasing it twice it never came. When I went to cancel it we didn’t even get an apology. Disappointing after the nice main course.
