We are currently looking for a chef to join our small kitchen team at the pub. ItŌĆÖs full time hours working five days with two days off. Wages will be based on experience.
Also we are looking to bolster Our front of house team mainly working weekends and evenings. Due to this being bar work and some late nights you will need to be 18yrs or older and have own transport.

The atmosphere in the Greyhound is superb, great beer with quality pub grub (the roasts are the best in the area). Niall is the perfect host, supported by his very polite staff. Wivenhoe has some great pubs but for me, the Greyhound shines above the rest. Niall is welcomes customers with a smile and some banter.

Had a lovely meal in there last night with 2 friends, had the burgers which were tasty af, desserts were great. Sat upstairs in the newly decorated resturant which is done out very well. Service by Izzy was spot on.

Listened to the band which was on afterwards downstairs

Excellent new menu lots to choose from and really tasty. Cosy, friendly pub with a lovely atmosphere.

Excellent meal yesterday. Fantastic food and service, a great menu and wide selection of beers - all served by a lovely friendly team. Plus there is a lovely garden with a children's play area. Highly recommended to all.

Delicious and generously sized roasts today with all the trimmings. We received good service and were accommodated very last minute. Always a relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

Can't believe that last review. What a load of tosh. The staff are wonderful and, oh my, the fries are the very best I have ever had. No constant staff changes so we are always welcomed like "old" friends. Yummy food and very friendly atmosphere. Don't ever change. "The girls" love it.

Good atmosphere. Garden is a lovely sun trap! Close to station and river. Food is good quality too what more could you want?

Rude staff who went out of their way to mistreat and swear at a group of adults. Never been treated so badly.
