Went for dinner here on Saturday night while staying at the nearby caravan park. Food was excellent & the staff were very helpful and friendly. Good value for money aswell. My 10 year son says he would rate it 6 out of 5 οΏ½

The food and service were outstanding a clean well decorated place to eat.
You are not rushed or pressured to finish your meal and therefore get to enjoy the food even more.
The best food I've eaten in years, delicious, devine, delightful, cooked to perfection, so good I went back & had the same dish again & it was exactly the same. Would travel the 170 miles again to eat here....food heaven οΏ½

and thought as we was in the borders for the weekend we would give it a go '
and we truly was not disappointed
I did book a table before we arrived
and I'm so glad that I did as it's not the biggest restaurant in the world and it obviously has regular customers and some people
was turned away who hadn't made reservations ! So I would strongly
advise you to make one beforehand as we arrived we was given complimentary
bottled water and mixed olives we both ordered rineye steaks that was cooked
to perfection "
And we both had white chocolate crème brûlée for desert and was not disappointed
all around the very tasty experience
and will definitely be going back next time

Made our first visit last night and I must say the food was first class, all courses were fab, food was cooked to perfection and I was glad we booked in advance as we saw people being turned away when we were there, a great wee place tomhave our wedding anniversary meal, would highly recommend and staff were great.

Just back from this wee place, can not recommend it enough. Had an amazing meal. Portions were great size, food best I have had in long time, desserts to die for!!! Β£75 for a family of four (two courses for 2 adults & 1 teen, kids 3 course for other child). Can't wait to visit next time we here. Great end to our weekend away.

First visit here yesterday evening for a quick bite to eat before heading home. Very welcoming friendly staff, in stylish relaxed surroundings. We had food from the 7 till 7 menu, both of our meals were very tasty & excellent value. We will definitely be back & look forward to trying food from their main menu next time.

Absolutely amazing food and locally sourced too! We visited on the last night of our holiday and had a wonderful evening thanks to the staff being so friendly and helpful and the food was incredible.
My partner had a ribeye steak topped with halloumi and I had the gammon. Both meals were cooked to absolute perfection. We even managed to force room for the incredible desserts! Very reasonably priced meal, which is by far, one of the best weβve had in a long time. We even managed to chat to the staff and one of the owners after our meal - lovely people. We will ensure we come back again. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
A very different menu from the norm, but fantastic nonetheless.

Not cheap, but very good, and well worth it.
Wouldnβt want to go every week, but definitely a new favourite place to dine out.
Service was very good.Only fault with my meal of cod goujons was that they were over cooked.Apart from that everybody enjoyed & would go back again.
