The Hainford Chequers

A beautiful 17th century, thatched cottage restaurant set in the heart of the rural Norfolk countryside in the picturesque village of Hainford.

Reopened in June 2014, Carol and David are happy to welcome you back to The Chequers in Hainford.

Our food is 100% fresh, local and cooked to order. We are child friendly, offering a Children's Menu, high-chairs and we have a play set outside. We have plenty of patio space to the front of the pub, and are happy to serve food outside in Summer.

Opening Times:
Closed Monday
Tuesday - Saturday: 11. 30am - 3pm, food served until 2: 30pm. 5: 30pm - Close, food served until 9pm.
Sunday: open all day for food from 11: 30 am - 7: 30pm

We also open all day for food on Bank Holiday Mondays.

As well as our Blackboard Menu, we also offer our popular lunchtime menu Tuesday - Saturday, which contains smaller hot lunches, sandwiches, baguettes and jacket potatoes.
