had a fabulous meal yesterday lunchtime, very busy, great atmosphere, friendly staff fantastic country pub and dog friendly which is always a bonus in my eyes xx

We popped in for a quick pint on a Thursday night, love what you've done with the place, still country pub but brighter. Menu looks great, will be sending all the family over. Big shout out to Hayley as well, thank you for spotting us on the way home!

We often pop in to our local and decided to have an early evening meal on Easter Sunday. It was wonderful. The lamb was so tender, as was the beef which my partner had. Amazingly crisp roast potatoes and huge Yorkshire puddings. A lovely array of freshly cooked vegetables, we couldn’t eat them all. We’ve decided to make it a fortnightly visit as the food, wine, beer and ambiance is so lovely. Well done Sarah and Ray, you’ve done so very well with the pub.

Took parents out for Mother’s Day. Fantastic 3 course meal. Each course was well presented, tasted lovely. Perfect sized portions. Excellent value for money and very cheerful staff which created a perfect lunch time outing. Will be returning soon

Had a meal for my partners 50th and absolutely loved the food, the service was fantastic especially the young man, not sure of his name but went out of his way to sort taxis for us all! The pub was cosy and warm, went there again for Sunday dinner and again nothing was too much effort, loved the menu! If ever that way again we will definitely be calling in. Thankyou

Absolutely fantastic dinner last night! The Half Moon has undergone an amazing transformation - we ate in the bar area which has a warm, cosy atmosphere - with the added bonus of being dog friendly- extremely welcoming on a grey January evening. Fabulous menu, delicious food, excellent service - we are blessed to have this wonderful pub on our doorstep and look forward to dining there on a regular basis�

A lovely country pub with friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere.

The food is traditional but cooked and served with a flair not found in many establishments. The meal we enjoyed was one of the best we had had in recent months. The quality of ingredients and the cooking was exceptional and the staff were pleasant friendly and caring.

Would I come back to eat here again, YES,YES,YES.
