Went to the Grease night and it was absolutely brilliant! Food was excellent (better than expected) and the staff were extremely accommodating (even fetching us more custard for our pudding). Great Danny and Sandy double act too. We danced the night away .... can't wait to go back ☺

We were married at the half moon on 9 sept and could not fault any part of the hospitality the food and staff were amazing and can't recommend the half moon and its staff enough from mr and the new Mrs jones thank you very very much x

We have been going to the Half moon on Christmas day for lunch for the last 4 years and as always it was great , we also went on New years Eve our first time WOW what a great evening we had , great food and Disco ,

Visit two or three times a year as part of a large crowd who meet up here. Food is superb, good value and served quickly. Staff are excellent, highly reccommended!

Staff were very good and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was excellent.

Really had a great time at the ABBA night last night. The act were first class, the food was delicious and the staff were friendly as usual. Will definitely be back for the Grease night in April .

BTW back for an early Saturday night drink, it's that good!

Myself and my sister down from Yorkshire for the weekend to help celebrate good friends 25th wedding anniversary celebrations at this establishment. What a fantastic time we had! Lovely staff that were incredibly engaging and friendly, fantastic service, comfortable clean rooms and a gorgeous breakfast. We will absolutely book again. Thank you �

My first visit was with 9 others. Some of the waiting staff seemed less than friendly, very unhappy & no smiles at all. We placed our order 9 of the main meals came out & 1 was late BUT the person concerned had a very genuine apology from the kitchen staff & food soon brought out. The food was excellent out the 3 starters, 10 main meals & 9 desserts there was not one complaint. I will most definitely be returning to eat there again. Just hope the staff will have a bit better customer service attitude.The 5 stars is for the food only.

Love going to the Half Moon for Sunday Roast dinner. Food is all freshly cooked not microwaved. Service is always excellent. Very relaxing atmosphere Cannot fault it and we have been going for a few years now. Lovely location too. �

It was our first visit with my husband. We had the fish player and garlic mushrooms. it was amazing. The staff were very friendly. It was a lovely hot day so sat in the very big garden. We will definitely be back.

Held a club meal here last night, lovely food, good value for money and staff were very helpful during the planning and on the night.

Got married at The Half Moon on Saturday 23rd September. All the staff are amazing, we wanted for absolutely nothing! The bed was extremely comfy, the rooms are lovely, bright airy and spacious and the food is exquisite! Each and every one of our guests complimented the venue and the staff. Thank you, each and every one of you, for making our special day run smoothly and serving us an amazing meal and breakfast the morning after. If we could do it all again we wouldn't change a thing!

Amazing pub with amazing staff, so friendly. Had our wedding day there on Saturday and then stayed the night. Best day of our lives, you guys couldn't be any more accommodating than you were. We had our perfect wedding with you, couldn't be happier, love the new Mr and Mrs White-Moore ❤️

After attending my father's wedding here at the weekend I would just like to say this venue was amazing. The service they received was second to none it was completely flawless the staff were absolutely amazing remembering every fine detail, putting everyone at ease with a very welcoming vibe nothing was too much trouble for anyone, & also making my little 5 year old feel part of it all with his own special menu :) thank you so much a wonderful day was had by all x

Friendly staff, roast dinner lovely... but pudding was late as girl forgot to ring it through the till, and after ordering what we wanted... they run out of two items before the third pud arrived... but now what we wanted... but was ok.... would go again though

Attended your ABBA tribute night last night and had a blast. Food was of very high standard (much better than expected ) entertainment was good - although felt a little cheated it was only two girls singing and not a full 'ABBA' act with some male musicians too. Felt more like karaoke.

Staff very friendly but as it goes with the bedrooms well all I can say is that the travel lodge is more inviting and modern room smelt of sewage bathroom of cooking fat they day the rm have been refurbished well all I can say is I would of liked to see what they were like before I would never come bk here to stay it no way worth £85 a nite maybe £30 can't fault breakfast nice
