What a treat we have for you this weekend coming! All of these guest beers will be on from Friday Cellar Head Brewing Company Oakham Ales Whitstable Brewery GADDS' Ramsgate Brewery Kent Brewery Burning Sky Brewery
Only a few tables left! Last food orders at 7pm
A traditional flavoursome ruby ale from Kent Brewery on today. Goes beautifully with roast beef! #roastbeef #rubyale #kentbrewery #realale #halfwayhousebrenchley #kentpubs #countrypub
We had a great St Paddy Day at the Halfway today (so good I filmed it upside down somehow)! 😂
First stop the Halfway and then Beer Seller!! Now back to the halfway for lunch 💕
Celebrate St Patrick’s day with us today with live Irish themed music from 5.30pm. You can expect Wild Rover, Seven Drunken Nights, Sally Maclennane and many more! ☘️ 🇮🇪 And hopefully some more awful fancy dress 😂
We will be showing all 3 games today. It’s set to be an exciting day of rugby and we have 11 cask ales for you to try (excuse the pun) 😝
It’s St Patrick’s Day this Sunday and from 5.30pm we will have Irish themed live music. We serve food until 5pm so why not book in for a late lunch and enjoy the music after. And of course drink some of the best Guinness outside Dublin.
Pop down this evening for our jam night from 8pm. Always a good sing-along! 🎵 🎶 💃
Sorry NO Ya’s Thai Kitchen today!!!
Don’t forget MOTHER’S DAY Sunday 31st March
Come in and enjoy a drink, a Sunday Roast and a warm fire!! Food served from 12-5 👍
We still have a couple of tables available. Give us a call on 01892722526 to reserve yours now
She’s back by the fire 💕
this is my favourite of all time pubs , it's a proper old pub with great beers , and great food . Always friendly and chatty down there .
This pub is amazing not only does it serve all the ales a man could ask for! ( keeps em quiet) not that my husband is an ale man but he's catered for with his (pint of gay) but the food is great and the service is impeccable! The bar staff are friendly and very good humoured! The beer festivals are amazing and so are the gardens the pub is set in! I Would recommend this little gem to anyone! ( I know people who come from far and wide for this little treat!) Oh and a little mention to the owner Sam you've nailed it!!
This pub is a regular haunt for me when I'm back visiting family, there're here most weekends anyway! Great range of real ales straight from the barrel, great traditional pub menu with some twists, service is always friendl, and an amazing garden with adults area and children's area separated ( nice touch) awesome outside bar at weekends and for festivals, I constantly brag to my friends in north London about this place. Cannot recommend it highly enough, a proper pub, with proper food and proper beer, well done to all the team there!
This is a proper, real pub. Real beer superbly kept, real food and real local people. It's a million miles from the dross churned out by the pubco's. No piped music, no telly, no fruit machines. A CAMRA award winning pub many times over this is a real ale drinker's paradise. And all set in an idyllic location just outside the picturesque village of Brenchley. I wish all pubs were like this.
Still one of my all time favorites for good food and great cask conditioned beer!
Splendid array of ales from the barrel and an impending 60 ale beer festival at whitsun bank holiday. Game on !
Proper pub, no messing, great beer, great atmosphere and great food. Wish I didn't live 1000 miles away!
Lovely welcoming country pub, with good food, and very good selection of real ales
Legendary real ale pub. No blaring music, no TV (other than during 6 Nations and Rugby World Cup), enormous selection of gravity fed cask ales, friendly staff, fantastic locals on hand for good banter and nice dogs welcome. What's not to love about that?
Great place! Good beer. Good food. Good staff
Great food big menu go every week never had a bad meal love it
Great decor as well as great grubb Looking forward to going again
Great beer and a very good Sunday roast! Will definitely be back!
Friendly welcoming accommodating ... 17 of us late for Sunday lunch thanks huge portions and lovely food !
Fab pub, hubby's favourite being a real ale drinker. Excellent staff, top class food & drink. Highly recommend to anyone.
Excellent choice of ales, and excellent food in a proper old pub.
Another excellent beer festival. Always fun
A beautiful country pub with all the trimming! Fab garden with massive kid friendly area and also an adult friendly area - nice touch. Food is plentiful and they are well known for their variety of beers. Everything you'd want from a family run, rural pub.
This is a great real ale pub which lies in a hollow between the villages of Brenchley and Horsmonden, a few miles east of Tonbridge in West Kent. It has traditional oak beams and a great menu. The staff are friendly and accomodating and it has been a CAMRA award winner many times over. Definitely well worth a visit!! :)
