We had a great night here last night.our daughter is at uni down here and took her here for a catch up drink.great atmosphere,Stella is spot on.made us northerners feel very welcome.was going to go into St Albans tonight but are going back here instead.

I was the DJ for a double 60th Birthday Party. Staff were brilliant and so helpful and friendly.

I hired out the function room at The Harrier for a team meeting. Di and the team were very helpful and accommodating. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Had our wedding reception here they out done themselves and made it perfect for us

Had a lovely time for my Daughters 16th birthday. The carvery as always was truly delicious .....still can't get used to the size of those Yorkshires!.

Had a lovely Sunday roast with my 4 sons yesterday, celebrating Matthews birthday. Food was excellent, staff were brilliant. Lovely atmosphere. Thank you for being so kind cooking Tommy his burger and chips. This is going to be our place to eat everytime we come to visit Matt at Uni. Thank you everyone xx

Diana and her staff catered for my mums funeral recently and did an excellent job so many thanks for that. Also I spoke to Pete today about the availability of the hall for a meeting for Action for Hatfield,he rang the organiser straight away and the meeting will be next Friday,and the hall has been given free of charge! Well done and thank you Debbie Thorpe

Went here by accident for a quick family Christmas get together. The outside of the pub is questionable but on entering we were amazed. Not many people in for a Saturday afternoon but it was the last full weekend before Christmas. Beer nice and cheap with great choice. Food fantastic, good size portions. I'm gluten intolerant and it was easy to swap chips for boiled rice. We will definitely be coming back here again when visiting my daughter at uni and next time looking forward to the night life here. Don't be put off by the outside of the pub. A little treasure of a pub.

Had my sisters 60th and my mother in law 80th this was done by Diane food dj and decor good nite by all I would recommend it to any one
