The Haven Residential Home Colchester Description
The Haven is a registered care home that aims to provide a high standard of care to our residents, whilst encouraging them to live as independently as possible by receiving care and support consistent with their needs. it is set approximately one acre of secluded land and is 5 minutes drive from Colchester town centre. the grounds within which The Haven is located can be easily accessed and residents are able to make use of this beautiful area. seating areas and patio are present to assist clients with poor mobility, enabling all residents to enjoy the benefits of outdoor exercise. The garden has lots of wildlife in the area, which helps to create a welcoming and stimulating environment for residents and family members.

We had a very busy day yesterday, tickled pink Hollywood show in the morning , and a visit from some children and their families in the afternoon to read and chat with the ladies and gents .

It has come to our attention that some friends and family members of residents in our care have received malicious Facebook communications from a former member of staff who was recently dismissed from the home.
We understand that receiving such correspondence is worrying and very unsettling. We would like to assure those who do receive those communications that they are malicious in their nature and do not reflect the care provided at The Haven.
... One such communication has been passed to us by the recipient and will be passed on to our legal team who are aware of the situation. We would ask that if you receive any such message you forward this to us as soon as you can by way of screenshot or by copying the content of the message in to the body of an email and sending it to haven@sohal.healthcare
We would like to apologise unreservedly for any unnecessary distress or upset caused by this person.

We had a fantastic St. George’s themed session with gunni yesterday, lots of fun , laughter, and dancing as always.
This morning we enjoyed a visit from a magician, everyone had a lot of fun .
We had a wonderful Easter party in the glorious sunshine , thank you to every one that come along and supported us, Denise for the lovely buffet , and all staff involved for your help and support.
