The Hay Bale Diner Description
Katy Holmes and The Hay Bale Diner team are back from the French Alps ready to bring a flavour of France to the Yorkshire Dales. Since last summer Katy has been chefing for a luxury ski chalet company in Val D’isere, perfecting her recipes and gathering the team, old and new.
This year, in addition to the pop up restaurant, the Hay Bale Terrace Bar will play host to those wanting to pop along for a delicious glass of French wine or a bite from the petit repas menu.
Katy’s aim is to deliver food celebrating the richness of locally sourced seasonal ingredients from farm to table in a relaxed, lively and totally unique setting.
Spring is a perfect time to use foraged ingredients from the family farm, such as the wild garlic pesto, hedgerow elderflower for cordial used in the cocktails, meat from the family butcher and locally sourced fruit and veg.

The Hay Bale Diner will reopen on 30th May and run till 29 June, Thursday to Saturday sittings at 7pm for 7. 30pm, and on Sunday at 12. 30pm for 1pm. The Hay Bale Terrace Bar will be open from 7. 30pm with petit repas available.
Tickets cost £25 and include, cocktail, canapé and a three course menu.
