Tomorrow i have to take my daughter katy back to hospital as most of you know she is under consultation about her heart. This means chelsea has very kindly offered to work all afternoon by herself and we will therefore only have breakfast on until 11am tomorrow. After that we will have sausage and bacon butties still. We visited yesterday, had a lovely hot chocolate and sausage and bacon butties, we had a slight wait on food but this didn't bother us food was cooked just as we asked thank you we will be returning

We have just had a three course Christmas Meal, it was absurd gorgeous, service and food was great, I would recommend people try this, or you are missing out

Was on a day trip with a relative and our lunch stop was at penrith where I don't know any eating places we chose here yesterday purely by chance and it proved inspired I had cheeseburger chips and salad it was well cooked and even though I have a mega appetite filled me for the day must also say the ladies who worked there were really lovely very helpful and friendly strikingly so

Popped in for lunch yesterday, food lovely and staff really friendly and welcoming.



When my plate came my response was WOW!! the Stottie is massive. I managed half with help & they wrapped rest up for me to take home.



Will definitely be back, need to sample the delicious looking cakes. 😊😊

Lovely little cafe � only thing I can pick fault with is the menu says the stotty comes with a free tea or coffee but we were never asked if we wanted one. On the plus side, the food is amazing and I will be back to try finish the giant stotty!!

Hot chocolate is one of the best I've ever had, good fast friendly service. We had a bacon and sausage buttie absolutely beautiful, cooked fresh and the sausages we're of an excellent quality. Will definitely recommend a visit and we will be back.

Highly recommend the hideout cafe! Whether you want food for a special occasion or just somewhere nice to eat, you will not be disapointed! The staff are so helpful and efficient and the food is amazing!

Had a great panini with a refreshing garnish/salad and homemade coleslaw.

Service was great friendly and very welcoming.

Had a buffet from hideout for our daughter’s third birthday party. Was excellent quality, amount, price and service. Totally recommend and will definitely be using again �

Called in this morning for breakfast, the poached eggs were cooked perfectly, and the coffee is lovely. Looking forward to my next visit to sample some of the cakes that were on display.

Called in for a coffee today, marginally managing to avoid all the lovely treats on offer! Great service with a smile and coffee that will definitely keep me going for the rest of the day! Will definitely be back to sample from the menu

Bought my lunch from this cafe several times this week. Always greeted in a friendly manner and in lovely surroundings. The food is tastefully presented, generous portions and most importantly tastes great. They brew a mean Americano too....go try it�

I visited today for the first time and I really liked the decor and the menu; plenty I would choose to eat. Today I had the Breakfast Stottie which was absolutely humungous and consequently the only thing I have eaten all day, which has been excellent freeing up lunch time and tea time to get my jobs done! Great value for money too. The only criticism I would have was that the menu stated the stottie came with a tea or coffee yet this wasn't offered to me by the waitress upon ordering. I am very likely to return to the Hideout.

First visit this morning for me and the hubby - full english and a sausage butty with coffee and pot of tea :) ... Was LOVELY :D and service was excellent - everyone was polite and friendly. Menu looked really nice so we will definitely be bringing Sam in for a children's meal :)
