We visited here for breakfast and we received such a warm welcome, initially we had been looking for somewhere dog friendly (which it is) but we got so much more the owners are lovely and welcoming and the breakfast was 10/10 I would highly recommend it to everyone
We called in here today for some breakfast. Although they do other food and cakes and drinks. It's a lovely dog friendly place to eat some high quality local food (the black pudding was amazing). It's lovely and bright inside and had recently undergone refurbishment. We arrived early so we're able to sit near the log burner. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be coming back next time we are in the area.
This is now a cafe and not a Inn. A Beautiful hostess who offers a warm welcome. Great choice of breakfasts.

It was early in the morning., A lot before the opening hours.
Still, the owner opened for us the kitchen, and helped us with the hot drinks.

Well what a lovely little cafe on a bank holiday drive! Dogs welcome which is important for us. We both had a chicken and bacon club with a side salad which was a big portion. 2 welcoming ladies that could not do enough for us. We had some lovely chocolate brownies too which were baked to pefection. Well worth a stop at to refuel. Wish this establishment the best of luck for the future!

High cross inn is under new management! Four of us stayed in the family rooms and the accommodation was lovely, views are spectacular. Breakfast was delicious! Also ate a Sunday lunch which was the best I've had. Highly recommend this B&B! Will definitely stay again next time we're in the area.
