A New vocalist will be so stage tonight after the 8:45pm Tote draw the very talented and lovely Abby Owers will be singing you all onto the dance floor See you later Hightowners.

The brilliant 5 piece band The Denotones 60s Experience will be our live act for our Swinging Sixties Night on this up coming Friday 17th May (Yes we know the tickets say Friday 16th) along with the Mark Moss Roadshow doing a 60s filler disco this is looking to be another Fab Friday. The Denotones play to packed out venues around the country and here are just some of the impressive reviews they have been getting on their Facebook page
We had a full club and everyone could not... praise these guys enough on how good they are. Please if anyone is looking for a 60s band don’t look no further. these are your guys! If we ever had another party this will be the first number I’ll call.
Saw and heard the guys for the first time last night - flippin’ awesome. Cracking vocals and harmonies - and what’s not to love about the tunes of the 60s? My feet still ache from dancing all night. Thank you to you all!

On Friday June 28th we will be hosting a Race Night in aid of a very brave young man, who is facing some tough challenges at present. There will be a raffle with some great prizes along with a few races for you to hopefully win a bit of cash. entry tickets are £3 and non members are welcome to attend and under 18s are welcome to come with an appropriate adult. This Weekend for your entertainment On Saturday May 4th it's a big welcome back to the very first act you lovely people ever voted for on our audience rating and they have always scored very high so come and join us on the dance floor as EXPRESSIVE HARMONY bring a fantastic collection of songs from a wide range of genres including glam rock and reggae.
On Sunday May 5th the always popular Dale Diamond will be singing a great collection of hits.

Earlier in the year we sadly with regret announced that our Open Mic Nights were coming to an end. After listening to many of our acts and friends who have supported these nights we are pleased to announce that they are now coming back. Once more your hostess will be the fantastic Amy Leeder-Dellbridge and we ask all acts to come along and make this a massive relaunch. Unfortunately we will only be holding 2 nights one in June and the other in December this is because Amy will be on maternity Leave and we wish her and Alex all the very best for their new addition. So spread the word if your an old friend it's going to be great to see you and if your a new friend it's going to be great to meet you

April this year will see a sad anniversary in that it will be year since we lost our very own Mick Middleton who not only was was a terrific member of The Hightown CLUB LUTON but also covered pretty much every position on our committee from President down and naturally we still miss him. And so with Mick's family's blessing we will be launching a Charity Night in his honour that will be raising money for a charity that was close to Mick's heart and that is Ataxia UK and for t...he very first Mick Middleton Charity Night we are very pleased to welcome back the brilliant Bootleg Bee Gees (Tribute Act) who last year gave us an amazing night of music from those legends The Brothers Gibb the one and only Bee Gees. The Bootleg Bee Gees celebrate over 40 years of Saturday Night Fever - featuring all the classic hits from the movie, such as Stayin' Alive, More Than a Woman, How Deep is your Love, You Should Be Dancing and of course, Night Fever. Plus all the other great songs written by the Bee Gees, including Massachusetts, Words, and massive tunes from the eighties like Chain Reaction, Islands in the Stream, and Heartbreaker. Tickets are £7 but can be purchased before the night for just a fiver and are available for non members. Under 18s are allowed in for £2 each with a an appropriate adult. If you saw these guys last year you know how brilliant and authentic a tribute act they are. Just wanted to say thank you so much for making me so welcome yesterday, on arrival I was greeted and given help to carry all my PA equipment in , drink was given and a full tour of the club of where everything was.



Friendly bar staff , lovely audience.

Such a nice treat these days to be treated well as an act when arriving at a venue, was certainly worth the long drive from Dorset to come and entertain you all.



Excellent club and one of the best well run venues I have been too for a long time - thanks for having me, see you in 2019

An incredibly friendly club full of some of the nicest people you could ever have the pleasure of meeting. Guests are treated like new friends and made to feel very welcome. The bar staff work really hard and are very friendly too. If I lived nearer to Luton I'd most definitely apply to be a member
