We stopped here on Sunday for the Carvery it was delicious. A choice of three meats and wonderful crispy parsnips. We felt welcomed by the staff and will certainly return. Thank you!

We came down from Bournemouth yesterday and we where seriously famished, as you can imagine when you are that hungry you seriously need ŌĆ£goodŌĆØ food and to not be disappointed. We absolutely loved our meals, service was amazing and it was quiet so we didnŌĆÖt feel pressured to leave at any time. We are most definitely going to visiting your establishment again when we visit. Thank you for such great service and food, we left very satisfied.

This is the second we have visited and both times have been absolutely excellent. The food is beautiful with an excellent atmosphere ’┐Į Staff were professional and helpful, we will be making this a regular monthly trip.

The wife and I have just had a superb carvery it was yet again superb and excellent value! There is always a good selection of well kept real ale, tonight it was Jail ale and Courage Directors The staff are excellent and helpful, this pub is well worth a visit!

Stopped for lunch while house hunting, friendly staff and excellent food.

Really good fish and chips. Very friendly and prompt service.

On a weeks holiday found this small quite pub and I must say I'm so happy we did, food is outstanding and portion sizes are massive. Staff are very polite and friendly. ( cod and chips is definitely worth a try). Never tried the pudding they looked scrumptious but never had any room left after eating my dinner lol ­¤śé. If we come back I'll definitely be here again

Mark, Hadley and Tamsyn are possibly the best people to have working, they are always so friendly and happy and I genuinely find myself laughing when they chat to me, they create such a nice atmosphere, I hate leaving my house as I get really anxious but when I come here I feel happy, I hope they all get recognition for what they do as they really are good! :D

Lovely yummy food. Came here as birthday treat from my brother Wes Thompson ( who also came here week or so before 18/11 With the tractor pullers team. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal. Lovely atmosphere excellent music on the sound system. Would visit again.

Highwayman is a very friendly place. Great food. Not those skimpy plates. Big ones. Always leave there full and very happy.

Good food, great service. Enjoyed a carvery with family and friends at the Highwayman and thoroughly enjoyed our it. Although the restaurant was extremely busy we received some of the best service I have had. Will certainly be returning for some more great food

Consistantly good carvery...staff are always friendly and the dessert cabinet is always full of excellent choice...we regularly use this pub now not just because it's handy from home but just for the quality and welcome

Busy but fit 6 of us in very quickly. Great choice of puds and lovely carvery. Shout out to Mark. We love you ’┐Į

Absolutely lovely pub. I booked a table for 16 my children and grandchildren last night and all members of staff especially a young blond lady pulled out all the stops to make our evening special. Good Food Good Service thoroughly recommend this pub .

Visited twice last week, Wednesday was quiet,had a good meal, friday night was fish n fizz night, we both had the homemade beef curry and trimmings (not on the fish n fizz special) but really enjoyed it all the same, both was given a glass of prosecco and strawberry. Enjoyed both evenings, good food and good menu if you were not too bothered about carveries. Would def use again if stopping in the region or passing thru at the right time. Thanks to all the friendly staff.
