We were a large group (13) on a Saturday night. Such friendly relaxed service from the staff from the moment we arrived. We all had 3 courses and every single dish was served perfectly. The pre ordering system was so efficient and easy. I would highly recommend, we will certainly be back!

We came from North Wales to see some friends and decided to eat here tonight. A lovely and chilled atmosphere with attentive staff, great food & yummy cocktails. We'll return again when we're next in the area �

Jumped on the train from Watford and popped in yesterday for lunch. Ate in the bar, food and service was superb, desserts were fantastic!!! The pistachio soufflé was amazing as was the chocolate fondant.

Would definitely recommend and we will be back.

Having done a little shopping down the roads, we didn't know the area at all. The first place we tried was the posher of two pubs next door to each other. Sadly they were so busy they could only do pizza.



We went down the other end of the high street and found the Highwayman.



The menu looked good albeit a little pricey.



We were told we could have a table in 10 mins so we had drinks at the bar and lovely nuts.



We then went down stairs and were treated to lovely snails, mussels, steak, duck .. truly lovely food that was well worth the price.



We will be coming back.

Had a lovely lunch! The lunch menu was fab with a really good two and three course offer and the staff are absolutely wonderful! Very personable and good fun! We were really looked after and had a 15month old and a 6month old with us and they were happy the whole time! Very family friendly place and my 15month old loved her food and ice cream :). We would definitely go back again and again! Thank you all.

Great family meal tonight! Thank you for wonderful service. The strawberry and chocolate specials pudding was amazing.

Delicious moules frites and steak frites for us. Yummy, hot fries, very good steak, perfectly medium rare, delightful waiter (Harry) who couldn't have been more attentive. Worried about the dearth of good, reasonably priced restaurants in the area but we were absolutely not disappointed by this one. Proper French bistro fare.

A regular visitor here - I really like the place. Great food, you can take the dog with you if you eat in the bar and all the staff are lovely too.

Pretty disappointed to be honest, same menu for the last 12 months and the service has gone dramatically down hill. To say it was Christmas Eve it couldn't have been less festive. Food was ok.

This was one of my favourite restaurants when it was brasserie Blanc. The service was good and the menu was very nice. This is now a White brasserie pub since 15th August 2015. So ignore any ratings that this place has because it's basically a new restaurant.

We weren't seated particularly quickly as other members of staff passed by us (we had booked). My wife and I both ate from the fixed price Sunday menu. The starters were all vegetarian but was quite tasty when it arrived. I had the roast pork which was nice but was a loin chop. The veg was nicely cooked I'm not sure what the apple fritter added to the meal. My wife ordered the roast beef which was very undercooked and sent it back. The replacement was cooked but raw in the middle. Fine if you like it like that but you aren't asked. We won't be going back.
