Absolutely a little treasure! Small but delicious home made menu! Beautiful deco lovely friendly welcome! Locally sourced produced very good! Will be back!

Not the best tonight. Difficulty in communicating with waiting staff, pie not cooked properly. Had to ask 4 times for gravy boat. Other tables were having similar issues. Shame always been a great place to eat

Had gorgeous meal here last night with my other half the food is amazing and the service was great, friendly yet professional. I had duck which was melt in the mouth tasty and my other half had steak which he thoroughly enjoyed cooked to perfection. Dessert was also delicious I had Alder Car farm ice cream and other half had Eton Mess. Would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Just enjoyed an excellent lunch, quality beer and food. Cannot remember when I have had a nicer sandwich. Smoked salmon, crayfish, pesto and salad. Generous portions and quality ingredients. Would recommend highly!

Careful when trying to get there, it's easy to miss the turning off of the dual carriage way.

The place feels like home. As I am the Londoner and am very picky, the Highwayman left me speechless because of the comfort and food which is cooked and served with passion and love.
If I will have to choose from the list of restaurants in Suffolk, this lovely and cosy place will be on top of my list.
I give this place and it owners 5 stars with no regret and no back thoughts.
Totally recomend to visit and dine there.

Nice food quick service and relatively cheap prices.

Super food at sensible prices. Wonderful to find wholesome food presented well. Two courses less than £20 a head including drinks. To be in a fantastic dining area that made you feel you were on holiday - wow - well done.
