Great Hospital the Staff are so good. Dr. Shafi Chowdhury was the best urologist, I thank him with all my heart, good luck in the future.

My young daughter had a minor operation here. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, taking time to explain to her what was going to happen at each stage during her procedure. Her room was clean, well equipped and a hearty breakfast after the operation was well received and tasty.

Hi, mother had hip replacement last year at holly hospital , she 71 years old. She received the best care and service, from nurse and doctors
Mom now fully recovered and all is perfect. I would recommend this hospital

Friendly escorted check in, the nurses were helpful and friendly throughout. Room was clean, secure with TV. When I had issues a few days later the ward nurses called me back promptly with assistance and advice conveyed from the consultant. 4 stars because the consultant/surgical staff did not visit post op or explain to me potential complications and issues I could encounter.

I booked an appointment with Holly House for the 31 May.

When I arrived I got told that I didn’t have an appointment, when I told the lady at reception that I defiantly had an appointment, she then checked and advised me that my appointment had been moved to the 1 June.

I did not receive any calls to advise me my appointment was moved, I had arranged a child care for which I still had to pay for, I was told that the team leader would call me, that never happened.
I was then given an appointment for the 29 June which is a month away.

Considering this is a private hospital I think it’s absolutely disgusting the way this was handled, If you are going to move patients appointments at least have the decency to contact them and inform them.

Let’s hope my appointment isn’t moved again!!

i would not recommend this private hospital to anyone! I went to do some investigation 1 month ago, there I met Dr Professor Green (urologist) and I explained my issues . He schedule me for investigations that I already have them done less then a month ago and were unnecessary and on top of that I had to pay for it a ridiculous amount of money.
In the end for getting the results by text, email or call (because everything was fine ) I had to wait another 2 weeks because I had to make an appointment for the Dr to tell me that I am completely fine.
Just for me popping in and have a 5 min conversation I was charged 140 pounds extra.
In the end I paid 800 pounds ( 1 ultrasound and 1 x urine test) for tests that I had them done already and for actual presence at the clinic to pick up the results.
I choose private clinic hoping that is a better service and they focus more on your needs and more quality of service.
Nhs results came out in less than 5 days and here 15 days.
Today I tried to contact customer service but obviously nobody was available to take my call.
My advice , don't choose this hospital.

Great front of house service but am dreading my treatment. I had a pre assessment yesterday and was asked to do a groin swab
I thought the nurse would give me some space and privacy but i was forced to turn towards the window to do it.
I was asked to do a sample but the toilet was hogged by nurses who spent a total of twenty minutes in there.

There is nothing worse than the idea that nurses and doctors have seen it all before so it's all ok.Basic moral respect for the individual is important - the Holly seems to have no basic respect for the basics. I am frightened about being treated there Monday.

I was one of four patients who had their surgery cancelled at short notice due to the hospital's inability to find holiday cover for one of their Anaesthetists. The hospital staff who delivered the news over the phone were unapologetic and bordering on rude. I also had a great difficulty trying to get a working copy of my MRI scan on disc which I needed to get the procedure done elsewhere.
Overall a very disappointing experience and not in the same league as other private hospitals which I have used in the past.

UPDATE: Managed to get a new appointment and theatre slot booked in less than 24 hours with the London Bridge Hospital (HCA). Bit further to travel admittedly but at least I know they won't let me down.
