we had are wedding here on April 21st 2018 and It was amazing. Everything went perfect!! all the team were lovely the food was excellent and had so many people saying how beautiful everything was!

Also couldn't of had such a better toast master he really made it special.

Went there on Friday 12th October with my husband & youngest son for my 80th birthday lunch , suprise suprise our daughter & son in law was there , also waiting for me secret service , they had traveled from Broadway. We had our wedding here on the 7th of April 2018 Sue could not of been more accommodating to have our every need. Richard master of ceremonious was absolutely amazing he did a fantastic job and made us feel really special. The food was outstanding and everyone commented on what a wonderful time they had. I will definitely be recommending the holt fleet whether it be for a wedding or just a meal out. We had a truly special day thank you to everyone and all staff.

We got married at the Holt fleet on the 8th of June 2018. Sue was fantastic from the moment we met her in organising our wedding, nothing was too much trouble! The day went perfectly, the toastmaster was friendly and happy to talk to the guests, the staff were really nice and the venue was amazing! Thank you for taking some of the stress out of our day! We are so pleased that we chose to have our wedding ceremony and reception here. Sue was helpful and friendly throughout the whole process and all the staff were friendly and professional on the day. Richard the master of ceremonies was excellent, making sure everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. The food was great and guests enjoyed being able to help themselves to what they wanted from a three meat carvery. It was also a bonus for guests to have the choice of three starters and three desserts. The room was turned around quickly and looked amazing all day. It is a great setting for photographs and guests made the most of the sunshine in the exclusive wedding only area by the river. Everyone commented on what a great venue it was. Thank you to everyone there-we had a perfect day.

The Holt Fleet is the place to eat. Amazing nutritious home cooked meals no frozen food like majority of places. Nothing is too much trouble for the friendly smiley staff who always greet you with a smile,making everyone welcome and feeling relaxed and looked after from entering the premises to leaving again. The whole building has a lovely warm feeling very clean and modern. The owners work so hard to make this business a complete success well done Sue and Alan and your team you are all superb.

Stopped off here for Sunday lunch today. Well what a fantastic pub this is. Friendly staff, fantastic riverside garden, beautifully decorated and the food looked and tasted superb. The only down side and I’m being really picky here was the portion control, far too much meat I had to tell the lady to stop lol

We will be returning for sure.

Not only have had a few excellent meals here recently, but on Easter Saturday we were lucky enough to be married and hold our wedding breakfast and reception here.

Put simply, it was an amazing experience. The setting is lovely and the facilities are really something. The recently refurbished bar area is both contemporary and homely, and the staff are welcoming and helpful. Both Sue, the manager and Richard the master of ceremonies run a tight ship that gave us a flawless experience, and I would not hesitate in strongly recommending the Holt Fleet to would-be bride and grooms as a venue for their big day.and the food is fantastic, both for wedding events and in the restaurant.

All in all, a splendid experience.

My son Chris and my new daughter in law Becky had their wedding here on 4th May. Everything was perfect. The food was excellent, the staff are wonderful and Sue worked so hard to make the day special. Thank you all so much for making it a day to remember ��.

I wish I could give a million stars. Our wedding day was beyond perfect. An absolutely lovely team of people and Sue is beyond outstanding. I actually find it hard to put into words how grateful I am and how perfect our day was.

The food was absolutely outstanding. Great that our guests had a choice and every single course was sublime. I, of course, sampled my husband’s food too so I can confidently say the food was consistently excellent.

Our master of ceremonies was wonderful and really made sure the day ran smoothly.

The DJ arranged by the venue was unbelievable! Damian catered to my every request and was such a nice guy. Everyone agreed he was brilliant.

Sue was so calm and organised it actually made me feel calmer. She is an amazing lady.

Every aspect of the day was perfect down to the last detail. I honestly can’t fault it, can’t think of a single thing that could have been done better.

So many people told us and our parents that it was the best wedding they have ever been to.

Would have easily given 5 stars, but for one glitch. Lovely meal and excellent service at the table, but the girl who i first spoke to needs to brush up on customer service. I said which party we were with and instead of taking 2 minutes to show us where we were seated she just said you're in the conservatory, my first visit to this lovely place so I hadn't got a clue where she meant. Like I said a small glitch but first impressions count.

Visited with my wife and 3 doggies, spent a lovely couple of hours on the river bank where we both enjoyed some very nice food! My wife had Pate and the lasagna and I had the chicken fillets followed by steak, potatoes and red wine pie in short crust pastry with all the trimmings and a delicious gravy! We would both recommend this place for its riverside position and fab food and service!

We are on holiday in the area & wanted a Sunday roast, The Holt was recommended to us. We arrived at 12.30 & was showed to the Bistro section (table 12 I believe) & told that the table is booked at 2 pm, so we felt under pressure straight away, it wasn't particularly busy at this time.

The Carvery was fabulous, 4 meats, plenty of choice of vegetables & potatoes & at a very reasonable price of £12 per person.

We couldn't have a dessert 1- too full & 2- we only had half hour left before we had to leave the table for the booked couple (table for 2). I wonder what would have happened if we had been there after at 2pm!!!

I would certainly recommend the Sunday Carvery.

The Holt itself is situated by the river & can understand why so many weddings take place here.

Love the setting,food looks good,was looking to use as a wedding venue with setting and price superb!! How ever after coming today on a sunny bank holiday,being told by rude staff it’s 45mins before we can even take your order then a 30min wait before it comes! Does make you wonder how they cope with a wedding party of 40+

Understand it’s hot and staff are under pressure but a smile goes along way.

I was really looking forward to having lunch on a rare day off with hubby but we were both disappointed with the food...I choose a ploughmans, one small piece of cheese one peice of ham...and some branston pickle not the best really for £11. Hubby had a tasteless chicken burger. Maybe try the carvery next time.
