The Hoops Inn & Country Hotel
Reviews
Lovely pub and oozes character and charm. Good food too albeit a bit top end
Stayed in a Superior Double two nights. Will definitely return. Great breakfast!
Had three excellent meals here whilst staying at nearby Clovelly, could not fault it, easy parking, friendly staff, our Labrador loved the treats. We hope to come back and stay here one day. Recommended
Staff very helpful and courteous. Rooms adequate but beginning to show signs of needing refurbishing. Very crowded in the evening. It might be suffering from its own success!!.
The Hoops Inn is located on a bend on the A39 while you're driving between Bideford and Hartland.
We visited a few years ago and could recall that the food was very good - so on a trip this time we remembered this and stopped off again.
The food is great. While a bit pricey it is worth it. Everything is homemade in the kitchen and the homemade chips are wonderful. If you're looking for a pub to stop by on your way choose this one as the food is amazing.
They also have a wide variety of beers, ales and ciders as well as some local stuff. They also have a b&b, however we never stayed there/we only visited the pub.
A very friendly welcome to the restaurant, excellent menu choice! Fantastic quality of food at decent prices. Dog friendly too!

Friendly staff and superb food as always, all at a good price! Highly recommend!!!!
Lovely atmosphere, good food and timely aesthetic. Pretty much everything you'd want from a traditional quaint public house.
