Cask beer in the cool room, reading material including daily newspapers, bar snacks, a large selection of bottles and cans, some very nice and well received wine, four keg beers on tap, real ciders and a friendly welcoming environment. That's January sorted.

Our Brewery Showcase calender kicks off with the awesome Gipsy Hill Brewing Company. Tickets are now available for this event on 24 January which will feature one cask and four keg beers. Starting at 6.30 pm tickets are £12 pp available from the bar.

We are back and ready to entice you with our fab looking boards.

The Alehouse is getting a good clean and de-Christmas today ready for our opening at noon tomorrow.
As it is Tryanuary we will be bringing you new beers (obviously) and new ciders (of course) as well as looking to bring you products from breweries not yet seen here along with some beer styles you may not have tried before. That is what Tryanuary is all about.
There will also be a freshening up of our can and bottle selection to ensure we remain your go to place in Chicheste...r for quality beers and ciders.
For those of you wanting a break from alcohol we will get in soft drinks to suit your taste. A break from alcohol doesn't mean you have to have a break from the pub.

We are all in need of a rest. Tommy is off to Manchester. The Alehouse needs a good clean and the bar needs a re-stock.

Yet another fantastic ale house in Sussex. An absolute gem of a place with a fantastic atmosphere.

This is what Chichester has needed for a long time! If you love ales & ciders you need to make this place your next stop when your in the city! Prices are spot on too.

Perfect mix of the traditional and new age micropub...Great to see this addition to Chichester :) Get yourselves down there highly recommended!

I would like to retract my previous down-scoring based on the minimal toilet facilities. The friendly staff combined with the perfect ambiance and excellent selection of ales absolutely overshadows the lack of khazis. Also, you can get wankered on about £30. In Chichester. I would just like to add that I did this by my own volition and was, at no point, bullied into it by Tom....

I came into this place to hide from my girlfriend shopping, had a beer... a really nice beer! Now I come here even when I’m not hiding or “just on my way back from Tk Maxx, I’ll see you at the car”.

Great to see this opened up in Chichester. There’s a whole parade of these micro pubs in my old home town and very successful they are too. Great selection of beers here and linked to the Untappd craft beer app so you can get news of new drinks on offer.

Great new venue. And lined glasses. Every pub should have lined glasses so that us drinkers get a proper full pint :) :) :)
