It was an absolute privilege to have the Blind War Veterans UK charity visit us to have a go at Carriage driving. Their disability was not going to get in the way and everyone had a go at driving our lovely Tommie and Charlie. Utmost respect to all but in particular to one gentleman who was 96 and had fought in world war 2...amazing. #heros

Calling all models!! We are looking for a couple to take part in a wedding film and photo shoot on Wednesday 29th August from our farm near Forest Row, West Sussex. You'll need to wear your wedding dress/ morning suit etc. Or we do have a couple of wedding dresses size 10 and 12/14 you can potentially wear and a morning suit size large. You'll get to ride in our beautiful vintage Barouche with our lovely grey horses Tommie and Charlie. Wanted to say a big thank you to Tommie and Charlie for making our wedding day special and taking us all the way to our wedding reception. A horse and carriage was always part of my dream wedding and it really was just perfect. I felt like a princess on the carriage! Thank you to the lovely lady and gentleman as well I am really sorry but I don't recall their names but you both were friendly and easy going. I would definitely recommend a horse and carriage to anyone getting married as myself and my now husband enjoyed time to ourselves on the way to the reception with a much appreciated bottle of champagne! A thank you to Julie as well who I had been corresponding with via emails. A big thank you for being part of our big day you made it special!

Visited today and had an amazing time. My daughter and I received a voucher for our birthdays for carriage ride followed by a picnic. Was very special and really recommend x

Thanks to Julie and her husband for making my carriage driving lesson such a wonderful experience. It was a very relaxed and fun way to spend my birthday. Tommie and Charlie were lovely to be around and made the lesson very enjoyable.

Such a wonderful afternoon spent with the Horse Drawn Carriage Company. Having not been horse riding for a while this was a great surprise from my boyfriend. Julie could not have made me feel more relaxed and confident with the horses. The two hours flew by and it was amazing driving a pair of horses. I would highly recommend this experience.

My boyfriend and I were bought this fantastic gift for Christmas last year, we nearly forgot to book it and I am so glad we didn't!

The "Winter Experience" was one in a million, we arrived at their home with a very warm greeting making us feel welcome immediately, also being greeted by their little dog Muffin! They then introduced us to their beautiful horses, two half brothers that were going to be pulling us along in our carriage. They gave us some back story about them, a little about their personalities and it was just so lovely to see how much they cared for their animals.

We were then ready to head off, on the carriage there was a lovely little basket which contained a bottle of champagne, we had two thick cosy rugs and a hand warmer, which in the frosty weather was definitely appreciated.

The scenery was just amazing, foliage covered in frost as we passed the welcoming public, all smiles. Not forgetting the very apt Christmas music playing in the speaker on the carriage!

Then we were dropped off to our picnic area, and it was just way above either of our expectations. It was the cutest little area with our own fire pit, I would describe it but I just wouldn't want to ruin the surprise element that you receive upon walking to the area. The effort and details that go into the area are so lovely, they make you feel at home. We were there for five hours and the time just flew by.

Honestly, if you're umm'ing and ahh'ing about booking this experience, think no more. You won't regret it.

My Husband John gave me this for my birthday and we both had a fantastic day . Big big thank you to Jackie, Adrian, Charlie and Tommy. If you love horses and the countryside you will love this .

Just want to say thank you, I really enjoyed my 2 hour have a go at carriage driving experience with Tommie and Charlie and learning how to tack them and the harness and really enjoyed the driving part as was the first time I’d ever done carriage driving. Would definitely recommend to others.

I recently entered a competition to find stable names for the 2 new boys at The Horse Drawn Carriage Company. I won! It was a lovely surprise as I had never won anything before. I had also had an operation 4 days before it was announced who had won.

The names popped into my head very quickly after reading a little about their characters and my love for all things Marvel. Especially the Norse god Thor. (I mean, who doesn’t like Chris Hemsworth?)

We arrived 15 minutes late as the sat nav had a moment but we were made to feel very welcome and there was no rush to get us out and back. We were told some of the horses’ history about how they are half brothers born 3 days apart, how and who they travelled from Europe with.

The ride was amazing. We went through Ashurst Wood village and everyone stopped to watch us go past. Some waved, everyone was smiling and I have a pretty good idea of how Meghan felt the week before!

The boys’ characters were on show too. Loki (God of Mischief) thought my leg looked good and had a quick ‘taste test’ I have a bruise to prove it and Odin (God of War) tried to pick a fight with Loki while we were walking along the road. They were impeccably behaved though and are both beautiful. I’ll be going back to visit them as often as I can and watch them become even better. Thank you for having us. �

I bought the two horse driving experience for my husbands 65th birthday and what a truly wonderful time he had no amount of questions were too much (and he had a lot) Jules and her husband were such a lovely knowledgeable couple and made this such a wonderful experience. Would certainly recommend this business for any carriage hire as not a boy were they truly wonderful so were Tommy and Charlie gentle lovely natured horses xx

I booked a carriage ride gift experience for my grandparents 60th wedding anniversary . Myself , mum Grandma and Grandad had the most wonderful time . A day not to be forgotten and is brought up in conversation most of the time . Jules and her mother where so lovely and explained everything about the harnessing up and answered any questions we fired at them about the horses and the carriage driving . 100% a brilliant gift experience for someone or for someone interested in learning the ropes .

Had an absolutely fantastic time today doing the Have a go at carriage driving. I did the 2 hour experience. It was great to be shown (and have a go at) harnessing the lovely horses Tommie and Charlie, also to be able to learn more about carriage driving. I loved going out and having the chance to drive the carriage. Julie and her mum are very knowledgeable and very friendly. I would definately recommend the Horse Drawn Carriage Company to everyone
