The Horse & Groom Hotel

Nice place, quite and away from the busy area, good food at the restaurant. A bigger TV in the room would have been good. I would recommend this place to stay.

Food fantastic !! The buffet came through past us at the bar and we thought we had done the wrong thing by booking to eat from the menu, we wasn't dissapointed......the food was 1st class, I had the Thai and my wife and daughter ate from the Chinese menu.....Rooms great value for money.....couldn't fault our stay, will definitely stay here again, I would put 6 stars if I could..👍 I feel I have to edit this review after my breakfast experience, it was awful, we went to the room where a 'continental breakfast' was ALEDGED to be served, to be welcomed with a choice of 3 cereals and a fridge full of bits and pieces to pick at......it was a 'free for all' ......so so so disappointed after the evening prior to this.......this could actually put people off staying again.....100 % more effort needs to be put into this......breakfast is a black spot against this establishment....especially alongside the fantastic food that's on offer and great accommodation.....such a shame....

Good service, good sized rooms. No frills, but did a job for the night.

Room was clean and well presented. Just a quick overnight stay so unable to comment on the general facilities.

If you have young children this is not the place for you. The owner does not like children. This place is not a child friendly.

stayed for a night with another 3 friends, so 4 rooms in total and also ate with a party of 15 at the restaurant.

great stay , nice big rooms, clean, good beds, nice staff and everything you would want for a good nights sleep.
