So impressed!! Decor, service and food are absolutely brilliant. Particularly like the 'light bite' option for main courses... so often I fancy a main course but the portion sizes don't 'work' well when trying to watch the waist line!! Your smaller portion size option for main courses has solved all that - thank you!!

Our first visit since the refurb... We were very impressed with the new decor and weren't disappointed by rest of our evening. Food was delicious, proper pub grub done very well. Excellent value for money too... Hope we've found a nice family run pub we can continue to return to!

Called in for lunch yesterday (15th Jan) with my wife. Loved it. Nice relaxed atmosphere, excellent food (I had a fab t bone steak) and good service. And it was reasonably priced to so we'll be back. Felt guilty for not leaving a tip but we had no cash and no option on the card reader. We really liked it though, thanks.

We had our afternoon wedding reception at the Horseshoes 22nd Sept, and we were more than pleased, the staff were friendly and also went beyond our expectations on the décor of the room and little finishing touches they did for us, food was extremely good...Our whole day was great but the staff here made it that little more special just with the warm welcome they gave us and you could tell they wanted us to feel special on our day, we will be back again soon to try out the carvery and id suggest anyone looking for very good pub food, with a friendly atmosphere to pop to the Horseshoes

The decor and staff are lovely meal was OK duck was over cooked and frozen veg. My meal was served on a orange plate which didn't make the food look very appetising. Won't be going back

Over the years used this pub for many meals sorry seasonal vegetables is not a scoop of peas, disappointed

I can't re-review on trip advisor as you can only do it once 3 months has lapse since your last visit. But We visited today as I was excited to take my husband back after such a bad taste was left in my mouth from the previous owners, the venue looks lovely inside now so congrats to whoever did the work, but we both felt very let down by the service and speed of food, we had to wait over half an hour to be able to go up and get a carvery meal when everything was already out, I no there is always going to be teething problems, but I'm not sure if we will revisit for a third time, if we don't. I wish the new owners the best of luck,
