Went to The Horseshoes for a family lunch on Saturday 10 March. Our group was 7 adults and 2 children. It was delicious. I had booked a table a week before and mentioned I was a vegan - the chef had prepared a vegan starter and main especially for me. We received a warm welcome from the front of house and the service was friendly and quick. The food itself was fabulous, and who doesn’t like a selection of over 100 gins! We had mains, deserts, some shared sides and a few drinks and it worked out at approximately £250 for us all. We had walked to the pub from the country house we were renting, and one of the waitresses even gave one of our group a lift back so he could collect his car and return to get the children (who were too tired to walk the 40 min back again). Decor was lovely, upmarket warm and cozy. If you get a chance to go, please do. Thank you The Horseshoes!

The waitress was friendly but due to being busy I felt we could not get into a conversation.

The food was well presented and very tasty.

Went for a family meal as a treat, the food and wine was absolutely flawless.

We went last night with family and had an amazing night! Lad behind the bar was very knowledgable about the different types of gin! which we sampled of course� Then we had a superb meal, the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble! Would highly recommend! ���

We visited the 1st time for a meal last Friday after a few recommedations from friends, beautiful setting, gorgeous food, friendly welcome, our only criticism the tables were a little close but our dining neighbours were very friendly..go try it you won't be disappointed. The Pork was divine �

I understand the chef is Michellin trained and it showed. All four roasts absolutely delicious. We will definitely be going again.

We called in one Monday evening after a walk and was made to feel very welcome in the bar area with our little dog.

We had a sharing platter from the bar menu which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious.

The pub has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere and the staff were all very attentive and cheerful.

We will definitely be returning very soon to try the restaurant menu.

Squeezed us in at last minute . Staff so polite friendly nothing to much trouble , food Sunday lunch was one of the best I've had , beef was to die for , recomend to anyone , make sure you book early to avoid dissapointment
