Here at the Hound Hub we are absolutely barking about dogs and we are here to help you keep your hound happy and healthy.

Walkies
We pick your dog up from your house by foot or in our dog friendly car and take them on an hour's walk either individually or as part of a small pack of no more than 4. Whether it's a group of an individual walk is your choice.

Dogs are kept on lead at all times unless otherwise requested by the owner and only where it is safe to do so. Dogs are creatures of habit so we’ll follow any guidelines and routines you may have with your dog and return them to your home, exercised, happy and worn out!

We are also happy to feed any hungry hounds when we come to walk them. Simply leave the food where we can find it and clear instructions. We will not offer the dogs any treats that have not been requested by you and ask you that let us know any dietary requirements.

We want to get to know your dog and ensure we are offering him or her the right care. In the initial meeting The Hound Hub will ask you to complete a quick health questionnaire about your hound. We will administer any prescribed medicines required by your dog during the day. We know healthy hounds are happy hounds.

Doggy Daycare
Ain’t nothing but a hound dog, crying all the time. . . Is your dog at home all day alone while you’re at work? Do you want an exercised, happy and content dog when you get home? Daycare is for you! You work, they play. Main benefits: Relief from boredom and loneliness. Exercise, play and socialising with other dogs.

We all know that dogs are sometimes left alone and often there is nothing we can do about this. People have to work, people have to go to family events, people have to take their kids for days out, but why should you not be able to enjoy the many benefits of having a dog? Nobody does these things 24 /7! Well now you don't have to worry because he or she can come and stay with us for the day, or if you don't want a full day in doggy daycare we can offer a daytime walk or feed to break up their day.

Another time doggy daycare is really useful is when you're trying to do some DIY, having some furniture delivered or just trying to have a good clean! We all know they get under feet, try to run out the front door and even bark at the hoover. If you just need them out your hair for a full or even part of a day (even if it's at the weekend) daycare is the option for you.

You can either drop off or pick up your dog from doggy daycare or we can make pick up /drop off arrangements. Whilst they're with us your dog will have the opportunity to make the most of an exciting social environment where they can learn, play and rest! They'll get a long walk in the morning and afternoon even when it is raining cats and dogs and have plenty of time to play and learn basic obedience skills. Dog owners usually notice an improvement in social skills, obedience and overall physical condition from just one or two days spent at doggy daycare each week.

The Hound Hotel
Whatever your needs we want to help you give your dog the love and attention it needs when you’re not there. Whether you’re off on holiday, away for the weekend, have work commitments or are due a hospital stay, your dog is welcome to come and stay with us as part of our family. They will have the run of our house and get cared for as our own.

We never have more than three guest dogs staying with us at any time so your dog will benefit from constant human and canine interaction, in addition to two long walks every day of their stay.
