We have had a very busy New Year @ the Props! A dinner for 24 lovely people on Sunday, a great New Year's Eve celebration followed by a non-stop all day breakfast service on New Year's day 🍳🥓☕ Happy New Year to you all and thank you for your continued support ❤️

We will be open 9am - 1pm on Sunday 30th and Monday 31st December. On New year's day we will open from 9.30am - 3pm and then back to our regular hours of 9am - 3pm every day.

Gift ideas for Christmas 🎁 Book a B&B break (any number of nights) or purchase a Gift Voucher (any value) to be redeemed against accommodation or food & drink.
B&B - Buy a Gift Certificate now, dates can be confirmed after Christmas. A deposit of £50 can be paid now to receive the certificate with the balance due by the end of January 2019. Gift Certificates are valid for one year.

We will be closed for a few days next week on Tues 11th & Weds 12th December for some essential maintenance work to be carried out.

Had a wonderful weekend at the Props...Poetry with a twist on Saturday evening. With sharing platters, baked camembert and homemade olive bread. In aid of St Petroc's Society - for single homeless people in Cornwall. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as we did!!

Yummy cream tea (and Lemon Meringue Pie) and a very warm welcome. Definitely worth a visit �

Wonderful wonderful wonderful. Steve and Mandy are the.perfect hosts. The rooms are.idillic, the food is fab and the location is just the best.

What a find! Absolutely loved this place. Quirky and full of local character. The staff were really friendly and the food fabulous. Recommend 1/2 pint of prawns, sardines and Cornish cider. The cakes are divine too - lemon meringue was heaven!

The finest cram tea and crab sandwich I have had in my 39 years. Such great hospitality I cannot wait to return to this hidden jem! Thank you for making our day wonderful :)

Six of us popped in - luckily we managed to squeeze in around a table for 5 - so would recommend this place - it was busy- my food was delicious. Waitress was very accommodating- several of us had the crab sandwich / cream tea special - I altered crab for ham&cheese. The ploughmans looked fantastic. We asked for more cream, jam & milk. These were brought to us. Crab bisque & leek & potato soup also ordered. A few bits of crab shell were found- but that's to be expected with fresh crab - all in all very good - will return.

One of the most amazing meals we've ever had. Pesto covered sardines, sole, meringues to die for! Beautiful!! So glad we nabbed the last available table!! �

Lovely friendly place always our first port of call for a wonderful meal with good service when we come to Polperro. Good atmosphere and the most delicious desserts and cakes. Highly recommended

Had some lovely fish pie and some tea and scones for afters ;-) lovely welcoming people here and what a fantastic building location and decoration.

Had a meal here with my parents last week. Wonderful staff and fantastic food in a truely historic building. If you are in Polperro this place is a must to visit. Make sure you have room for a dessert- all home made and truely delicious. Can't wait to go back.

Beautiful old building over looking the water front. Cream tea is lovely , they also do a 1/2 cream tea too. Blackberry and Apple pie and lemon meringue pie is also very tasty. They allow dogs in so it’s great for us ( have 2 dachshunds) . Will definitely be back next year. My mum loved it here in April too. Thank you for my memories.
