Calling all Beer lovers, butterfly lovers and vegans! We now have a new beer on tap for a limited time. When its gone its gone. The beer is Wood’s Wood White and will be raising funds for the Wood White butterfly, a threatened butterfly local to the West Midlands and East Devon.
The Wood White is a classic Belgian style hazy white with subtle coriander aromas, and crisp orange peel and citrus flavours, and is 4.2% Vol. ... This limited edition cloudy beer will offer drinkers something different, and it is vegan.
The Wood White butterfly has declined by 88% in the UK since the 1970s.
£10 for each cask (about 15p per pint) that is sold will be donated by Wood Brewery to Butterfly-Conservation to help protect the Wood White."
Please note that you don't have to be vegan or love butterfly's to enjoy this lovely beer.
