Lovely hotel, staff are very attentive & quick to fix anything you're needing done.

The service at The Imperial Hotel remains top notch, a level of attention to detail beyond a regular 4 star hotel, combined with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the management seem to have a ceaseless programme of improvements. The hotel is well situated, just on the outskirts of the town centre, meaning that there is little disruption at night while shopping is just a short walk away. The food in the restaurant is always superb and with a daily changing menu, we always find something interesting to try.

A very clean hotel with well appointed rooms. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Breakfasts plentiful and good quality. Good location for exploring North Devon.

Lovely hotel but rooms on ground floor suffer from noisy floorboards above. Breakfast is very nice with a good choice available. Location is ideal close to town and a few pubs. Staff are very kind and helpful. Beds are a little tired. The double is two singles pushed together but the mattresses each dip in the middle and creak a little.

Excellent service and staff. Luxury hotel decorated to an extremely high standard. Great food.

Nice clean hotel. Superior room was spacious. Customer service was amazing. Only small complaint is that the double bed was in fact 2 singles stitched together, but this seems to be a growing trend in other hotels too nowadays.

We always stay at the imperial hotel when visiting barnstaple, it's first class in every way.

Average at best quality of food... Drinks we e better but prices where too high for what you got
