Booked a standard double room, very large, clean and updated bathroom. Bed comfortable. TV and kettle. Price very good. One complaint was no temperature control and the room was very warm. Location is also great. Tram stop outside or 15 minute walk to the tower. Its a large and old hotel and aged in parts but still very nice. £5 to park a night it a rip off compared to other hotels. Overall nice hotel but watch out for car park charges.

I’m sure in its prime this hotel was beautiful but it sadly fails to deliver now. We have just had a two night stay and it is safe to say we will never be returning. The room was small, not particularly clean (although it was difficult to tell whether the furnishings were just shabby or dirty) and badly in need of refurbishment. The bathroom was tiny and condensation was running down the windows in the bedroom the whole time we were there. Thinking that the hotel was fully booked we just mentioned our disappointment on checking out only to be told we could have been upgraded had we told them. If this was the case then why allocate a room knowing that it falls well below the £140 a night that we were charged. Shame on them. We have tried to contact head office but the email was dismissed. I certainly would not recommend this hotel. Save your money and book into the Premier Inn. Rooms at a fraction of the price and priced accordingly.

I stayed here with my boyfriend overnight and had a wonderful time! The hotel is close enough to the main seafront strip to be convenient, but out of the way enough to be cosy. Our double bed was very comfortable, and there was a bathtub in the bathroom as well as a shower. Room service was available, but we decided not to take advantage of it as there was a £5 charge - however, there was a wide selection available to order at the bar with a 24 hour menu also available. Breakfast was included in our price and was a gorgeous continental buffet with a lovely sea view which made our morning. Although we only stayed for one night, we thoroughly enjoyed it and would visit again if we went back to Blackpool. Thank you very much!

My experience at the Blackpool Imperial Hotel was lovely. When we arrived, we were welcomed by helpful staff. When we went to the room it was clean and tidy with plenty of space. The views were especially amazing, as we had a view of the Blackpool Tower AND the beach and sea! The leisure facilities and swimming pool were lovely, my favourite part being the hot tub. The breakfast was by far the best we had on our holiday, with such good quality food and massive range too. Everyone who worked there was so lovely and polite, including one of the cooks who was speaking to us whilst getting food. A lady with short brown hair who was a general manager was especially lovely, who noticed us having a look around and offered to give us a tour of the ballroom and tell us about the history of the hotel! She was lovely and made us feel very welcomed and at home, so bonus points for that. Overall I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Blackpool as I couldn't fault anything about it. 😊

Enjoyed a spa morning at the hotel followed by afternoon tea. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Highly recommended the back massage, most relaxing!

Great location on the sea front. Bars clubs tower and shops within easy walking distance. Superb dining room and service. Room disappointing ...window hanging off, tiles in bathroom coming off and black mould. Lovely staff, very very friendly and helpful.

Old rustic but very charming. Fascinating place with helpful staff. If you want the most modern room and electronics...This is not the hotel for you. This is a place where history happened. The city of Blackpool is struggling to come back but it has some interesting things to offer.

Doorway is always full of smokers, no way to avoid it. Building is very old and looks high-end, but some furniture like the bed could do with updating - headboard is just wood, heads were hit a few times. First day in, there was hair on the shower walls, no hand soap and after pressing a button on the hairdryer supplied in the drawers which is attached to the wall through this drawer, all our power sockets stopped working; had to wait for maintenance to come in the next morning, no option to move or anything, so we waiting until morning and thankfully maintenance fixed the problem quickly. Breakfast is very expensive and not worth the price, but staff and service are very good. Unable to turn the radiator on/up, something was broken on it. Overall, wouldn't recommend.
