About The Imperial Hotel & Thai Royal Orchid Restaurant
The Imperial Hotel is located at the centre of this Cotswold town adjacent to the Railway Station with a direct connection to major cities making the Imperial a perfect base to visit some of the south west's beautiful country sides and towns. It blends the original Coaching Inn character and period features dating back 200 years with modern comforts and an authentic Thai cuisine menu. The bar also offers a range of wines, real ales and single malt whiskies. All 23 rooms are en-suite and equipped with a TV, hairdryer and tea coffee.
The newly refurbished 3 bedroom apartment offers accommodation for up to 9 guests.
A full English breakfast is available each morning. Stroud is at the heart of the Cotswolds surrounded by beautiful countryside and wooded valleys. The quaint town holds regular farmers markets and boasts a bohemian feel with an abundance of cafes and galleries.

Stayed here as a stop over for Cheltenham races hotel is clean breakfast fabulous it’s my 2nd stay here in 3 years will be back very reasonable
First visit here and we had a terrible experience last night. Service was poor and waitress clearly didn't know the menu, resulting in only 3 mains being served instead of the 4 ordered ( there were 4 adults eating!). Also one of the mains were incorrect. When we asked to speak to the manager she was disinterested and offered to send out the 4th meal even though our 2 friends had finished theirs and I left mine as it was not what I ordered! We refused to pay for our main meals and left!!! Real shame that the staff are not trained correctly and the manager is clearly not managing well!!!! We will never eat here again!!
