The Ingleheart Singers

The Ingleheart Singers are a community choir that meet weekly in Troon School, near Camborne. We sing anything from Gospel to folk to Cornish music to pop to world. . . . all music is taught by ear and there is no audition.

The Ingleheart Singers are a community choir that meet weekly in Troon School, near Camborne. We sing anything from Gospel to folk to Cornish music to pop to world. . . . all music is taught by ear and there is no audition. We perform a wide range of gigs from The Eden Project and Truro Cathedral to weddings and care homes. We also sang on The 3 Daft Monkeys CD The Antiquated and The Arcane, and performed live at the launch of their album. One recent event was backing and supporting Blake at The Hall for Cornwall.

For some larger gigs we join forces with another choir led by Claire Ingleheart - The Suitcase Singers. One event that both choirs participated in was Wild Works production at The Lost Gardens of Heligan. This day long event commemorated the start of World War One.

In December 2012, we recorded and released a CD of traditional and Cornish carols, A Celebration of Christmas.
