Great day out to see birds of prey with flying demonstrations. Owner is passionate about conversation. Birds are beautiful and well cared for. Huge variety to see.

Great place for a day out. You can be amazed, entertained, educated and amused in the knowledge that your support will be helping to to conserve birds of prey in the UK and abroad. Lovely grounds for a stroll or a picnic. We've been regular visitors since the '70's and enjoy every visit.

Attended an owl evening last night for daughter and boyfriends birthdays. We had a great evening. Brilliant staff, super hot pork rolls and mulled wine or spiced apple juice. We have visited several times during the day and done one previous owl evening. Would definitely recommend. Never disappointed.

What a great day out - very extensive range - and number - of birds of prey. Staffed by knowledgeable, and friendly staff. All in a beautiful setting. A little out of the way but well worth the effort. Highly recommended.

It has lots of birds of prey that are beautiful and amazing! The gift shop is great and the flying area was so much fun because I loved seeing the birds fly everywhere! However, the place is a little tacky and I feel that the birds aren't kept in the best condition. The staff were a little rude but overall it's a nice place.

A few members and friends from Rhondda Camera Club recently visited the birds are well looked after and the 3 flying displays are excellent and each one features different types of birds Well worth a visit

A thoroughly enjoyable day out. Recommend that you arrive as soon after opening as possible. They give three different flying displays during the summer and two in the winter. A visitor should endeavour to attend all of them. They have the largest collection of birds of prey in the UK, possibly in Europe.

Had a fantastic day. The staff are helpful, friendly, knowledgeable and clearly passionate about the birds they take care of. The flying displays were very interesting without being patronising and the birds clearly thrive . Food and drinks were lovely and very reasonably priced. We will certainly be returning

Had another fabulous day here. Great for the whole family. Bird shows wonderful, very obvious that the welfare of the birds comes first. Love the dry humour too. Already looking forward to our next visit.

Great numbers of many kinds of bird. Took part in raptor flying experience-excellent. 2 lovely girls so patient with the 6 of us and flew all kinds of raptors owls etc in many different surroundings and then close experience with others. Just being able to hold about 5 different ones. Superb. And the running caracara was great.

Beautiful birds kept lovingly by experts. Great flying displays led by the eccentric owner. Staff clearly love what they do and aim to educate the public about conservation of these birds, some of which have been seized from smugglers or nursed back to health after injuries whilst others were bred in captivity. Would definitely go again!

After checking online for opening times and prices we arrived to find that the centre was infact closed. I am sure the centre is amazing however our experience did not happen. Not impressed at all after driving all the way there for nothing.

User

Wonderful centre and well run, we attended the owl evening which was a ticketed event and it was a brilliant experience. I was a little disappointed with the food and drink provided considering the £30 ticket price, but not enough to be put off a good evening, just something I hope the centre learns from. Looking forward to going back again in the day to see the other Birds.

True to their name, they only display birds of prey and very good at that. From tiny Burrowing Owls to massive Condors, one can see the birds of prey found all over the world. Their flying displays (weather dependent of course) are top notch with excellent and engaging commentary. One to has see how the birds respond to the falconers to enjoy their show displays. Nice photography opportunities from the bird displays. It is sad that these majestic birds are persecuted in many parts of the World including our country. They also home rescued birds of prey. Credit to the entire team that participates in breeding these birds and releasing some to the wild.
Try the coffee shop that also do limited but delicious hot food. Very good service.
