loved it, fabulous staff, we had my dad's 80th birthday afternoon tea yesterday, food was really good, nothing was to much trouble for the staff, they even took photos for us at the end.

Wow what can we say, incredible stunning venue with such an excellent attentive and professional team!! We had our wedding here on Saturday just gone, and the day was absolutely perfect, everything went like clockwork and that’s down to Sandra, John and their fantastic team at the Isla. From the day we first viewed the venue, to booking it in 2016 up until our big day, nothing was too much trouble, Sandra was fantastic always there to answer any questions and provide us information we needed. On the day and in the lead up John did an incredible job ensuring all ran smoothly and his fun, kind personality shone through all day making us and our guests feel so welcome and happy. Massive thank you to all the waiting on team and kitchen staff you were all amazing, the food and drinks were gorgeous and enjoyed by all!! What a stunning venue with plenty of photo opportunities and places for our guests to relax and enjoy the atmosphere. Highly recommend for any event, believe me you will have an amazing experience if you book an event at The Isla Gladstone!!

We had our wedding here in September and it couldn’t have been better!! Staff so attentive and helpful, everything organised to make our wedding as stress free as possible and beautiful food! We can’t thank you enough for making our day so special!! Special thanks to Sandra for all her help over the 18 months of planning. X

We had our Ruby Wedding celebration here and had the most wonderful evening with 120 guests

From our first preliminary visit to the very last second of the event we recieved the best, friendliest and mist efficient service. Sandra Lingard co-ordinated the planning and the staff on the day were charming and excellent. The food was hot, plentiful, delicious and very well received by our guests.

The venue was spotlessly clean and beautifully presented. Welcome drinks were chilled and we had good advice from Sandra on what to offer, which turned out to be spot on. Guests commented on tge great bsr service and lovely relaxed atmosphere. Staff could not have been more helpful and even offered to blow up balloons for us. Children were made to feel special and welcome, as was an Assistance dog acvomoanying one of our guests. The lift access to toilets in the basement was appreciated and tgectemperature, sound system volume and lighting levels were beautifullybinbtune wjthbour needs. There were ample parking spaces.

We had a really special time together. Our guests from all over the UK loved the venue and we felt we'd been able to achieve our aim which was to show Liverpool in the best possible light. Beautiful archetecture, stunning setting, perfect ambience, a warm scouse welcome, history and culture excellent catering. What's not to love? Thank you Isla Gladstone Conservatory and staff - you made our special day a five star experience

We couldn't have been more happier with the Isla Gladstone.. Rachael was fantastic in helping us organise the whole day in the months leading up and John was amazing on the day. Was at a christening on Sunday 10th June the venue was excellent. The staff very helpful and professional would recommend . The food was hot and cold buffet was lovely .

Venue is brilliant had a really great time at a Gatsby themed party. However the food was a let down Luke warm scouse and a few bite size cakes not my idea of party food

The experience was amazing for my severely autistic son where the staff were understanding and caring and went the extra mile to keep kierran happy relaxed and not stressed ...even I was nervous about the event because of how kierran can be ..but it couldn't have been more successful ...thankyou we had an amazing afternoon and it was done up beautifully n food was delicious...

Perfect venue for our wedding - staff so professional and helpful - John was incredible, as was Becka and Helen helped with our kids so we could enjoy our day without worrying about bottles and feeds... food delicious and scenery so beautiful even when it was lashing down with rain! Highly recommended �

Our son Phil Parkes had his wedding there on the 24/04/2016 it was absolutely. amazing, it was a beautiful day and night from start to finish, the staff were fantastic,the food was beautiful and the venue was stunning "It definitely has the wow factor". Ok Isla Gladstone was a good time girl one for the boys with a wink and a twirl,flattened some grass in stanley park, but only with the band and only after dark,whilst hubby Will was away for the day, she was in the boat house,busy making hay, but "hush" not a word don't tell the PM that she wore around her neck her rustled dresses hem

Me and my now wife booked our wedding at the Isla on Friday (25/5/18) and we have no idea where to even begin with the praise for the place. We had the service, meal and night time all in there and from start to finish we were made to feel welcome. John and the staff went above and beyond for not just the two of us, but for all our guests. At one point, one of the members of staff even went outside and pushed our friends baby in the pram, insisting that he went back in and ate his meal!! We had originally hoped to get married outside, but the weather never agreed with us, so the service took place inside, I was worried about how smoothly changing the room around would go, but while we were having our pictures taken, we didn’t even realise that there were tables and chairs being moved next to us. From beginning to end, John spoke to us to make sure our day was going the way we wanted it to, and knowing how busy we were in the night time, welcoming guests, he even brought us some of the buffet over and made sure we sat down to eat it and take some time to relax a little. All of our guests have commented on how well the day went and how lovely all of the staff were.



The Isla Gladstone is a venue I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to get married.

Had our home wedding party last night at Isla and couldn’t recommend the venue enough! It was absolutely wonderful and all the staff were so helpful and friendly. I forgot some bits when we got to the venue and they went the shop to get it all for me! Went above and beyond! Thank you so much for such an enjoyable party. If you book your event with them you will not be disappointed. Absolutely wonderful ����

After being so fortunate attending David Gonzalez and Siobhan Taylor´s wedding at Isla Gladstone, they couldn´t have chosen a more beautiful venue for their very special day with fantastic green gardens surrounding this beautiful building. And not to forget: Top class staff, food and refreshments made the celebration complete!

A huge huge thank you to the team at the Isla Gladstone for making my brother and sister-in-laws wedding so wonderful and magical and a special thank you to john and the team for all their help in making the reception so fantastic xxxx

Attended Gatsby party venue was fabulous , food a letdown , scouse had no pototoes or veg in it and luke warm , although table was set for coffee never received , dessert was a selection of small cakes with no side plates to put on !! When waitress came collecting coffee cups told we hadn't had any coffee she just said ran out of coffee pots and that was that, just cleared the table , no offer to make a coffee nor any apology , how can a fabulous venue like this fail to serve coffees ? Especially as numbers have been catered for

Very disappointed ate he prior to the football last night, main course never arrived, we had to ask three times, the gentleman next to us walked out he waited that long. When the food arrived my partners chicken was cold and vegetarian option was greasy, we didn't have time to wait for desert as we would of missed the start of the match, all and all not good hospitality for the price we paid.

The staff are lovely couldn’t been more helpful every Sunday however the Manager this morning was extremely rude think he needs to go on a customer service course in regards to loyal regular customers.
