We had a voucher bought for us as a wedding present. We had a fantastic experience, the meals were ample and very tasty. The service was excellent all staff very helpful, they even moved us to a window table which was no trouble for them. We would certainly recommend it was a most enjoyable evening.

User

This place is amazing. The service was pretty great. We arrived early and were escorted to the bar. The staff at the bar were friendly & made us delicious cocktails. The bar area is very pretty as is the restaurant. Once our table was ready which was earlier than intended we were escorted by the host to a table with very comfortable chairs. Our waiter was great he recommended wine and food according to our tastes. I was surprised that he recommended the house wine which was fantastic as it was dry. The quality of the food was great. The creme brûlée is just a must

Popped in on Saturday for a cocktail; tried the rhubarb crumble, ended up having two followed by Prosecco! Great friendly atmosphere, great staff. Recommend the tuna carpaccio. Can’t wait to go back!

Lovely place to celebrate a Birthday, have spent the last two 4th of July lunch celebrations there for my husbands birthday. Wonderful ambient excellent service and delicious food, what more could you ask! Fiona Maxwell, local!

User

Lovely evening celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. Food and service was really nice and friendly. Lovely dining feeling. Relaxed atmosphere 😊

I have been to the Ivy in Covent Garden and to the Richmond Ivy cafe before. The London one is a very different experience but the Richmond one is just right for the area. Great menu, good wine selection and good waiting staff. I agree that some of the tables are too close together but this time there were 4 of us and we were seated at the back which was better. Will certainly be back, as will our friends who hadn’t been before.

Had the Champagne Afternoon Tea, beautifully presented by very professional staff in lovely surroundings, very busy but did not detract from the feeling of a very well run establishment with the correct staff numbers capable of creating a calm atmosphere, well done to all

User

Had a super meal. Feeling very full and very satisfied. Great food and service.

User

Great food , excellent service, loved it! Not cheap but you could always go Mac Donald’s for cheap!!

You can buy gift vouchers on the ivy website then the bill doesn’t seem so bad!

The extra touches re our wedding anniversary were very special! Our Server , Dora, was very professional and made us feel like royalty!

We will be back!

First time I have had breakfast here and it definitely won't be the last. Beautiful Eggs Royale, poached eggs were perfectly cooked, my companion had the Full English which looked equally delicious, will be back very soon

User

Amazing breakfast, have been here a couple of times and both occasions was spectacular. Staff very attentive.

My husband and I were celebrating my birthday and it was my first time at the Ivy. I love the decor and the staff were really friendly and helpful. I thought the food was delicious, I went for the fixed price 3 course menu and the Gravlax was good, the Sea Bream excellent and the Strawberry Ice Cream with pistachios and milk chocolate sauce to die for. My only criticism is that the tables are much too close together, and the steak my husband chose was OK, not wonderful, it could have been the cut, bur I am not sure.

User

Food and drink fabulous, as you would expect, service good - again, as you would expect - and we were seated pretty quickly considering they were so busy. However, we received an “interesting” welcome at the front desk with a bizarre conversation about having booked a table via Opentable and there not actually being any tables. Think this needs to be addressed with Opentable rather than making booking guests feel uncomfortable. I have been an Opentable member for a long time, booking the actual Ivy through them when I visit, so hope this can be worked out for future bookings!

User

Fantastic food & service. Everything tasted fresh & was of excellent quality. The portion sizes were perfect. Ambience was great & there was plenty of space between the tables. It wasn’t too noisy, we could hear ourselves talk. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact that someone was waiting for our table, I could have stayed longer!

Took my niece for brunch before she travels back to Australia ... service was not as good as expected.. we had smoothies very nice.. I had eggs with avocado and spinach when ch tasted had too much lemon 🍋 n .. my nice eggs rotate she said was very not very.. colffeewas really good.

User

Poor meal today I’m afraid. Kitchen must have been swamped. Really poor Ivy Burger at the bar. Took far too long and when it arrived it was luke warm dry and .. possibly a reheat! You can do better Ivy.

User

I had the Vegetarian English breakfast which was just ok . Tasteless tomatoes , flat mushroom was not cooked fresh so a bit dry not particularly well seasoned my toast arrived after I had to remind them. So I would not recommend .

User

Great food and look and feel. Went there for the first time on Saturday for our anniversary dinner. Everything was perfect until we had paid, were clearly just finishing our drinks, and were asked to hurry up and leave by the head waiter/manager. He wasn’t amazingly rude about it but it was completely unnecessary (we weren’t being slow and hadn’t been told in advance the table was booked after us) and it pissed me off and spoiled an otherwise perfect dinner.

User

Table was not ready at the booking time, nowhere to sit despite one of our party being infirm. Guy on the front desk (said his name was Jonathan) was obnoxious and rude. Ruined a birthday celebration.
