Wonderful birthday meal. Food was exceptional as was the service. Would recommend!

User

We came here for early dinner. The service was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. The food was amazing, very generous servings. The three courses were so tasty, great ingredients so many different tastes coming through. Surprisingly very reasonable. Will definitely be returning on my next visit to London. Such a lovely location as well. Really pretty and not over crowded.

User

We came for a pre-Wimbledon breakfast on a recommendation from a friend and loved it. Great food, service and a wonderful atmosphere. Will definitely return

User

Our family met here on Wednesday for lateish lunch, we all loved our food, very tasty and generous portions, offering excellent value. We all agreed the decor and ambience was wonderful. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. My sister and I come from other parts of the country to meet, so we were delighted not to be rushed to leave our table.

We will return as we all thought it was a wonderful experience.

On this Saturday, 17th February, I celebrated my 80th birthday here, along with my wonderful family. We were all looked after so well and everything was perfect. The attention to detail was amazing and we all enjoyed a very happy time together. Thank you to everyone at The Ivy, Wimbledon.

My husband took me to the Ivy Cafe in Wimbledon Village last night for my birthday. We had an amazing experience, food was out of this world & the waitress was very attentive; fantastic service. We will definitely return to sample another delicious meal off the menu.

User

My daughter booked us for my birthday treat, it was my first time , staff welcomed us and were very friendly and kept coming over to see if all was ok, food was wonderful and just the right portion for my appetite, loved the decor and I would certainly go again with friends and family

User

Loved everything about this place, so elegant, fresh, clean & friendly staff...would be good for a celebration like an engagement, food was lovely...champagne was good aswell (£9.50 for a glass not bad) make sure you book as this place gets packed...will be coming back at some point! xxx

User

Love it here. We are always made to feel welcome. This is our go to local restaurant for all occasions - any excuse!

User

I book the private room for my 65th birthday.

I had a lot of support from Charlotte who looks after the function rooms. The whole process was very simple with fantastic menu , wine and seating options. The room was absolutely gorgeous all my 20 guests had a ball. Can highlighly recommend the Ivy both the room and the restaurant. The whole team are amazing and it has such a relaxed but stylish feel.

Big thank you to Carl Berry who did an outstanding job looking after a very large group of thirsty party goers,

Fabulous

User

Excellent service and food and staff are very polite

User

Would be nice to have a better choice for vegetarians as there was only one dish , it was lovely but a choice would be better .

My partner and I went for dinner to celebrate our 10th Anniversary this week.

Everything was great, the service, the food, the food presentation, the drinks, the ambiance... I was particularly fond of the decor, the bathroom was very nice too.

The only tinny bit that was a let down, and having worked in fine dinning myself I'm quite particular about this - was the hand soap and hand moisturiser. Management, please sort this out and get a good brand in such as Moulton Brown, Cowshed, Neils Yard or something else nice, you would have got a five star rating from me.

User

First time visiting The Ivy, but I hope to return. The staff were very attentive, the atmosphere great and the food delicious!

User

The restaurant and the service are impeccable; the food on the other hand could do with some improvements; I had the sea scallops.. bland and tasteless, followed by monk fish and prawn curry... again... tasted like something out of a package... very disappointing

User

The atmosphere was great but I wasn’t impressed with the vegetarian options or option more like. It was very bland and dry.

User

Food amazing, service not so good. Lovely waitress just either inexperienced or over-worked and didn’t have time to look after the table...to ask 3 times for wine glasses to be re-filled is not what you expect for service in Wimbledon village..

User

Booked for my Birthday and had the Brunch menu.... mostly OK but the shepherds pie doesn’t come with vegetables and at no point we’re we asked if we would like any. A mention of vegetables would have been appropriate if the waiter had been more attentive . So comes down to service... most times I have been to the Ivy the service was exceptional however last Sunday not very good...

Also I had a Birthday cake 🎂 we were allowed to light the candles, sing Happy Birthday, take photos but not allowed to have a slice of it 😂🙄😂 so we went to Hotel du Vin and had our cake and a few cocktails ... just in case you wondered what happened to the Birthday Cake.

My sister and I were really looking forward to our afternoon tea. We ordered along with our hot drinks that accompanied this. The drinks never came with our afternoon tea, we waited and then politely asked. Staff said it was coming. We waited and waited and in that time had eaten most of our tea (eating slowing as we wanted our drinks with it). There were no spoons for our moose and had to ask. Staff made us feel like an inconvenience for asking, the waitress tried to look away when getting her attention then thought best to come over. We were given spoons, and we reminded them yet again that our drinks had not came - there was no apologies, just a blunt it's coming. After waiting our patience was running out and yet again ask and finally got our drinks at the end with no apology or concern addressing our wait. The waitress even came over soon after to take them away - I had to stop her as there was still drink inside I was trying to enjoy. We're pretty laid back however on this occasion we were so disappointed in the shabby service. I have to say the high tea was lovely and the person greeting us was welcoming, however the service completely left us with a negative experience of the Ivy Cafe.
