Went to the ivy for brunch for a 50th birthday treat absolutely amazing food and very attentive staff recommend to anyone

User

We had a lovely evening. The food was perfect, the waiting staff couldn’t do enough for us. We were there four hours and did not want to leave. What more could you want for a perfect evening out. Can’t wait to go again. Thank you.

Visited The Ivy for Afternoon tea with 3 friends it was a birthday celebration. 3 of us had the set afternoon tea & one friend chose salmon from the menu we all thoroughly enjoyed our choices. We also had beer & wine it was a celebration 🎊. We were given plenty of time to decide & they were very busy even at 4pm in the afternoon. We were impressed how many staff were there it was absolutely buzzing. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience & will certainly be going back. It’s not cheap but you expect to pay for service & quality of that standard.

My boyfriend treated me recently(the 27th Jan) to a romantic meal here(brownie points for him!) And I've got to say it was amazing! From the moment we walked in the door we were both in awe such a lovely setting and the staff were extremely friendly and attentive including

our waiter Adam he was very friendly and had such good food knowledge. Treated myself to one of their cocktails which was wonderful! Food went above and beyond expectations! Really was beautiful!! Even though its rather expensive we will definitely be returning!!

User

Lovely place! Took my wife here to celebrate her birthday and the staff really made us feel welcome and were friendly. The food is tremendous

User

I visited today for afternoon tea with my mum and my nan. The food was excellent. Our maitre d Agustin and our waiter Thanasis were very attentive with excellent service. Will be looking forward to our next visit.

User

Have been some weeks ago for a breakfast with a friend and was amazing. Yesterday evening I was back with my family for dinner, the food was excellent and the service too.

User

Had a wonderful champagne afternoon tea here yesterday with my daughter, such a treat. Lovely surroundings staff are excellent, not cheap but what an experience!

User

First visit an LOVED it! Great barmen, very entertaining! Great anbience and lovely food! A busy, bustly restaurant and great for people watching. Lived up to our expectations! Also nice to see people dressed up and made an effort which you don’t see much of these days. A great evening!

User

Came here with my wife for brunch for the first time, the only negative is the parking which is totally out of the Ivy’s control.

The service was fabulous and staff welcoming

The food was delicious and excellent price.

It is slightly expensive when drinks added but to be expected, not somewhere you may go every day so for a treat well worth the money for the experience. Will be back.

User

A birthday dinner last night, and it was excellent (once again)! The food was of great quality with good portion size, and the service was super - friendly, attentive whilst professional. Thank you once again The Ivy 😀

User

Visited Saturday after the Theatre . We had booked so table ready for us . The service from.start to finish was very good however a little rushed. Starters were delivered within minutes of ordering recommend crispy duck salad ... after we finished dishes were quickly whipped away and mains infront of us . Which was small but beautiful filled steak . Served on a plate with watercress garnish @£29 a little pricey after adding baked sweet potato and tomato Salad . We commented to waiter we felt rushed so to be fair they left us alone and we enjoyed our meal .

Desserts good choice (rhum barba) good choice of wines and cocktails which we enjoyed also...

Would recommend and visit again 4 a Special occasion or date night .

User

It wasn't as good as I was expecting but was very good the service was great very friendly and attentive starter was really nice the ribeye had no sear on it so was Gray asked medium rare was medium it was tender but for £30 with no sides I would expect better overall it was good I would visit again.

User

I had a great lunch; the food was delicious and the waiter was very attentive! Having such high ceilings I was a little worried it would be cold, (hate being cold when enjoying a nice meal) but it wasn’t at all to my delight!

User

Beautiful room and the food and drinks are superb. I've been to the Ivy in London and I can say that I actually prefer the Ivy in Clifton...so much so that we have booked to come back in two weeks time.

User

I have been for breakfast before and really enjoyed it. We loved the pancakes especially. So we were excited to return for brunch. But unfortunately found it very average food this time. I didn't like the table we were seated at, but it was extremely busy so there were no other tables. I took my two children as they love it there. I was approached by a female customer who was sat nowhere near us. She made it very clear that she thought a person like me shouldn't be bringing children to The Ivy. It was very upsetting as we had done nothing to cause a problem, just walking to the toilet. Don't think I'd like to return after that.

User

We normally like this place very much but this time the service was very slow, they forgot our second tea to be served so we need to ask again which arrived after my breakfast.

User

Such a shame as we were so looking forward to our ladies lunch but the wait for everything was far too long! Main courses were cold and eggs not cooked. Staff were attentive and very concerned but our meal was spoilt. Food was good but not good enough for the prices charged although environment was better than most. Better burgers in Vintage Inns or Greene King.

User

Went for cream tea with 15 ladies for baby shower. Took ages to deliver drinks , two pots of tea for 15 of us, had to ask for milk, then extra tea. Fairly poor service for the price charged. Won’t be rushing back
