Wonderful evening - food, champagne, service and atmosphere was perfect. We were in the garden conservatory area and the room felt very inviting and warm. Little touches made the evening perfect. Def will be returning for another special occasion and the afternoon tea. The outside courtyard will be very attractive in the summer. Felt like being in London but on your doorstep

When we visited the original Ivy restaurant in London, we were simply taken aback by the whole package. The attention to detail with regards to all aspects of the visit were second to none. We always said weā€™d go back, but the hassle of travelling in to London makes it more difficult. Then the Ivy appeared in Cobham! We visited to celebrate my wifeā€™s birthday and we were not disappointed! The decor and the ambience are not lost on this spin off from the original and the food and service were absolutely flawless. Would highly recommend!

User

What a treat to celebrate my birthday there with my family! Such a special place, great food, professional staff and beautiful decor, thank you!

User

We only had drinks and dessert but had excellent service from the bar tender Taiya. She was attentive very friendly and made excellent Daquiri's.

User

This was a treat for my husband and I from friends. The service , ambiance and food were great . No feelings of being rushed. It is quite pricey but worth it for a special occasion. I would love to go again .

User

This brasserie is absolutely delightful, we didnā€™t want to leave. The food was delicious & the service was on point. We canā€™t wait to come back.

The summer party on Tuesday 10 July was fantastic. Drinks and canapĆ©s was plentiful and Iā€™ve got to say the staff were great and always smiling. Nothing too small to request for anything. Richard Roper was marvellous and always smiling and attentive. I canā€™t fault anything for the atmosphere and service. It was a wonderful evening with glorious weather in the garden. Thank you all at The Ivy in Cobham.

User

Celebrated my sonā€™s birthday there this morning and we all had a fantastic breakfast. The food and fresh fruit smoothies were delicious and beautifully presented and the service was excellent. Very friendly and attentive staff and perfect for a special occasion.

User

Arriving at the Ivy on a high having had a great afternoon at the Oaks at Epsom downs I was instantly impressed with the warm greeting on arrival.

The food wine and service was excellent and my husband and I will definitely return there again.

Was only slightly miffed as hubby hadnā€™t thought to mention when booking that it was my birthday on that day, so I most probably missed out on a little Ivy treat!!!

User

A treat from our son and his fiancƩe,beautiful food, service superb and the ambiance wonderful .We shall certainly go there for breakfast and afternoon tea at some point !

User

Nice cocktails, beautiful surroundings. Good food especially starter and desert. Very enjoyable evening. Maybe work on the chips a bit they tasted more ā€œhealthyā€ than ā€œtreatā€. Overall good night out.

User

Was so hopeful and overall was quite disappointed. The setting is lovely and the service was ok (not amazing though but fine) but the food was very average. The prawn cocktail starter was very basic, no frills, and the lettuce was crunchy but browning on the edges; I wouldnā€™t have expected them to serve it and ate the prawns but left most of the lettuce.

Everything else was ok. Had a monkfish and prawn curry - only one prawn - and a chocolate bomber pudding.

I didnā€™t eat a single morsel the whole evening that I felt was anything special. And it needs to be better fire the price.

That said, I did have a lovely evening with friends. Would I go back? Iā€™ll try it again, once, with different food choices and see what happens...

User

Not impressed with menu , felt had to rush starters as told main meal was coming ļæ½so plates was cleared away making space leaving basket of starters so had to pick at ..

User

Ivy used to be good when opened. Now they changed the menu slightly and the quality of food is very average. Grilled chicken salad was dreadful - massive plate of lettuce with huge overcooked chicken breasts and spoon of quinoa, the most inconvenient plate to eat. Some waiters were not aware there is a child menu, which is very basic. Ā£7.5 for child bowl of boiled spaghetti with grated cheese is a joke. The interior is still nice tho.

User

Itā€™s the small details that make the difference and this place lacks some of the obvious ones. The food was ok. Service was ok. Would i rush back, probably not. Too many other places to eat that focus on the service detail and not the ā€˜nameā€™ of the place. A shame as I did like the overall ambience inside.

User

This was our 4th visit as it was my birthday and this was my favourite restaurant. On arrival the staff were all chatting and very un approachable. We were seated in the conservatory which is lovely. We realised the menu had changed and 90% of dishes were fish, well I didnā€™t fancy fish so opted for the shepherds pie. It was terrible boring and bland. The service was awful. We were left with our plates on the table for about 15 mins before someone came to clear them away. The staff dress code was all over the place, one girl had old black jeans on and her hair was hanging out all over the food. This once was a lovely restaurant now itā€™s over priced plain and boring food with terrible customer service. Ruined my birthday completely so wonā€™t be returningļæ½

User

Service was poorly and we were sitting in the conservatory and we were cold.

Not once he asked if we were ok or did not fill up our water bottle and left empty wine glasses on the table.

Waiter was far too busy flirting with 3 ladies who were sitting next to us and going to Portugal for holiday hence waiter was advising about local sightseeingā€™s.

Next time we will go to the proper Ivy and we will be served by well trained waiter!

User

Breakfast at The Ivy Cobham failed to impress. The company was great, the venue was great but the service was non-existent. For example, when you ask for a veggie full English without baked beans, itā€™s annoying for the beans you didnā€™t want to arrive on your plate and to be told ā€œitā€™s always served with baked beans but weā€™ll take them off your plateā€ and then, to cap it all, not take them off your plate! No marmalade with toast? We had to ask for it twice! The second round of coffees never appeared but we received complementary coffees that we no longer had time to drink and had to refuse. Oh, and please serve the ladies first (sorry, I like that). Come on Ivy, shape up your act, you are supposed to be top of your game!
