Had breakfast before the Test Match at Lords, quick service & great value for money

User

Great place

User

Great food, great staff, and must add great Manager, overall 5stars simply in my humble view doesn't reflect the breakfast experience we had. Be popping in again very very soon 👍🏻

User

Great food, the ambiance and the decor is elegant and cozy, reception is polite and they will do the most on your booking something that you don,t often come across in London. Immaculate services. Menu is so well done great balance

User

Fantastic service and good quality food.

User

Excellent cafe ...adapted some dishes to make them vegan friendly..the aubergine and sweet potato with quinoa and morrocan sauce was amazing. Great service very nice decor. Please get a dairy free Cake on the menu for extra awesomeness!!!!

User

A very impressed diner from Manchester. The customer service was exemplary and the food just right - I'm not a great fan of "fine dining" and prefer more traditional menus - my shepherd's pie was perfect. I've visited both Marylebone and St John's Wood now and have added The Ivy Cafe to the list of my favourites when working in London.

User

Very attentive staff but not overly, good chat with staff which also makes you feel at ease.No vegan options but a couple of great veggie options. It is like stepping back in time I loved the atmosphere and the decor is top notch

User

Been a few times and the food is always very good. However I found out yesterday when paying my bill that your staff do not see any of the service charge. How can a restaurant group with a reputation like yours not pass on customer gratuities to their staff? I paid mine in cash instead.

User

Well we booked for Boxing Day and has too be said the decor stunning, service excellent and attentive. But was a little disappointed with my eggs benedict....when it arrived it looked so unappetising and dull I could,nt face eating it so sent it back. And they kindly offered an alternative.Every else was delicous that we ordered so that's why I,m only giving 3 stars..We will return though as the Ivy Cafe experience was great

User

Food was nice and had an amazing orange espresso martini, but was very disappointed to have to fight with 3 different people to get the set menu which it clearly states on the website is available until 10pm on a Monday. Apparently it’s a mistake and lots of people have the same problem- then change the website! And don’t argue with the customer.

User

As I rated the overall experience as a 3 I’ve taken the time to explain why. As we were a party of 8 we decided to share a starter which consisted of 2 large bowls of tempura courgettes which came with two pairs of flimsy bamboo serving tongs not fit for the job they where intended which resulted in everyone using their hands to serve themselves . . . . . The main courses didn’t arrive together resulting in half the party having no choice but to start their meals. My Chicken Milanese arrived over cooked which was cleverly camouflaged with a fried egg but nonetheless remained inedible. Although this was replaced with a fresh plate (which was delicious) by the time it arrived the rest of the party had all but finished their plates so I was left to dine on my own! The staff where attentive and friendly which help in some way to smooth over the rather disappointing dining experience.

User

I f you want cold food and bad service this is the cafe to frequent

They try to create an aura of sofistication which fails dismally

User

Food was luke warm. Fries came well after the steak which was lukewarm. I called the day before to request they surprise him with happy birthday wishes for dessert. Before they brought it a waiter nudged him wished him happy birthday ruined the surprise entirely then brought out a tiny bowl of 3 chocolates with a happy birthday on it. Ordered coffee and dessert the coffee came after we'd finished dessert. Not worth the money at all!
