Janice Hughes School of Dance. Established in 1985, is one of the most Established & Respected Dance Schools in the north west. Over the years, the school and it’s pupils have performed in many professional productions including the opening ceremony of the Commonwealth Games, dancing with the Halle Orchestra at the Bridgewater Hall and performing at Her Majesties Theatre in London.
Many of our pupils have gone on to make careers in theatre and dance.

We offer classes in Tap, Ballet, Modern Stage, Contempary and Hip-Hop preparing students for NATD examinations and boasting an impressive 100% pass rate to date. Classes are held Monday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings and all day Saturday (please see the timetable below to see our set class times).
We welcome all ages and all standards of dancers. Our main focus is to make our pupils confident within themselves and in various aspects of dance, performance work and auditions, by teaching spatial awareness, precision and attention to detail.
