Went last night for the first time and was pleasantly surprised! Downstairs is incredibly busy so unless you’re happy to sit out the back, don’t expect a seat. We tried to book the gin parlour but the online facility wasn’t working and when I tried to call there was no answer so we did turn up without a reservation and due to upstairs being so quiet they were going to close however we were allowed in there for a couple of drinks which were absolutely beautiful! Elliott is such a great host and bar man and is a credit to the bar! The only negative is that we were not allowed to spend more time in the gin parlour � we will definitely be back and will ensure we book next time to avoid difficulties and issues

Went here for the first time on the recommendation of family members had a lovely afternoon and cocktails were great apart from one which seemed to be crushed ice . One of our party had walking difficulties so a trip to the toilet which is upstairs was awful especially as there is only a handrail on one side of the stairs so coming back down was even worse . Not at all handicap friendly .

Was only popping in for a drink but we decided to make it an afternoon treat x the cocktails were amazing and the service outstanding x the staff know there cocktails and nothing was too much for them x so glad we found this quaint pub x

Thanks for the most amazing New Year’s Eve had a fabulous time so well organised and staff and drinks superb . Kaitlyn was just great and really looked after us ! Will def be back soon for some more cocktails and the MasterClass was so entertaining . We loved every minute of it from the welcome drink to the great magician to the food all perfect

I booked this blind for my best friends girlie hen weekend as she wanted to do cocktail making....the whole experience was awesome...the decor,the amazingly friendly staff, the sweetie cocktails and then the cocktail making experience which were all amazing.....the best time ever and would come back again and again

Had a wonderful time yesterday with my family; we enjoyed a delicious afternoon tea; lovely tears were served and nothing was too much trouble for the super staff team! ����

Excellent afternoon tea the young lady serving was really helpful and very friendly the service from her was excellent my friend brought this for my birthday it was well worth it and great value for money the food was lovely and drinks were amazing definitely be coming again ��

The service wasn't very great. One of the girls who work there, she has black hair, was trying to question my religious beliefs. After that, she just proceeded to make inappropriate comments about how she is very depressed and doesn't like working there!! i'd like someone to contact me about how i can take this further and how you're going to solve this issue!!

Never been more disappointed. I used to go to the jekyll a lot after work and loved it but last night was shocking. I booked a table to start the night of my friend's hen do. Service was none existent. I'd already called in advance to see if the bride could have a special cocktail "yeah sure, ask the waitress on the night they can sort something". Nope. Didn't even attempt it "i can only do whats on the menu"



When we were in the main bar service was ridiculously slow. The staff were lighting candles at the bar while people were waiting to be served. Really?!



And what's with closing off the beer garden?! It was one of the few places in Birmingham to have one, now its like a green house.
