Went to see the Desert Turkeys play on Sunday afternoon. A great pub with a great atmosphere and great music. The choice of real ales makes it even nore appealing

User

We visited Hastings to attend a funeral and rather than drive 4 hours home afterwards we booked a room overnight. The funeral was early afternoon and, although our room wasn't ready, we were allowed to get changed and leave our bags in another room which wasn't being used. Whilst we were at the funeral they moved our gear to our room.

Excellent choice of beers which we sampled that evening and breakfast which was directly across the street in the Land of Green Ginger was excellent.

User

We love this pub - we came to stay in the rooms upstairs, very pleased we did, cheers.

User

Unfortunately I was double booked in a different hotel so needed to find something quick. Hurray for the Jenny Lind. Perfectly situated in the old town near all the vintage emporiums and just a hop, skip and a jump from George Street.

The room itself was on the second floor so no noise heard from the pub. Fridge included in the room with 2 bottles of water and milk for your tea. Although room was small it's perfectly adequate for 1 night away.

Breakfast is included at the Land of Green Ginger across the road and it's by far and away one of the best breakfasts I've had in a long while. The staff advise that the food is cooked fresh to order and although we had to wait 15 minutes for it to arrive (not long really!) it was definitely worth the wait. Try the sausages!!

I'd definitely return to the Jenny Lind when returning to Hastings.

User

Only walked past it so far whilst looking for a house in the old town, the atmosphere was spilling out on to the street with people in full costume, I could have easily been drawn in and look forward to the day I am back down there to enjoy it

User

Lovely welcome! Decent rooms at a very reasonable price! Breakfast of site but no problem at local cafe! Darn good music venue too!

User

User

Great welcoming pub. Me and my dog Bertie love it here when we we visit Hastings.I am allergic to shopping,so the wife disappears to the shops and Bert and I relax with a few pints of Long Mans superb ales

User

Great pub. Always great music and a fantastic age range - what makes hastings great!

User

Great place with loads of interesting real ales and craft brews

User

Great beer and bands - say no more...this pub rocks!!!

User

Good atmosphere, great selection of beers and helpful staff.

User

Fantastic beer and atmosphere ..great live music be there on 25th may .need to find out more about there darts team to .

User

Extremely friendly locals pub with a fine selection of ales (and a loyalty card system where the eleventh pint is free - you don't have to drink 10 in a session to get your freebie either...) and a convivial atmosphere. A good stage for viewing gigs (I was there for such a purpose) with excellent sight lines wherever you stand in the bar. I've always used other pubs in the Old Town on previous visits but I won't be overlooking the Lind next time I'm in town!

User

Every time I come to the Jenny Lind there is always a magical happy vibe. The true atmosphere of what Hastings Old Town is about. What an absolute Gem!

User

Came in to see a soul band on the Friday night. HDabeilliant night. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and TEN real ales from breweries near and far. Loved it so much we returned Saturday night to see a R n R band. Another great night.

User

By far and away the best pub in Hastings and Rother, great beer, great staff, lovely clientele and KC and Linda are very welcoming and succeed in making everyone feel part of a community, be they a regular or in my case a 'not so regular'.

User

Always had a great time here, especially love Blair great band. Friendly atmosphere. 0nly downside is it's a bit narrow in the bar area and not enough room as it gets very busy.

User

A fantastic pub for a drink, snack and a dance, with regular live music. Vocal Explosion choir visit this venue each Thursday to wind down when the RX Shanty men are performing; always a great night!
