What a lovely night , front of house service like you've never seen and a four course meal worth every penny - I haven't been for a few years and I have to say GO!

We've had the very good fortune to dine in some fabulous Michelin starred restaurants and the tasting menu we had on Friday was right up there with them. Sam chose the perfect wines to accompany the courses and we were blown away by Gavin's skill in the kitchen. It was everything you'd want from fine dining. Delighted to discover such a gem in Lincoln and will definitely return.

We had the most delicious meal at this fabulous restaurant last night and it was absolutely perfect. The food was so beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked. The knowledge about where the food is sourced was excellent. Dietary needs seem well catered for when mentioned in advance. The decor, service and ambiance are all faultless I don’t usually manage three courses but couldn’t resist the gingerbread mousse with blackberry ice cream. Thank you for a truly memorable evening, we’ll be back.

We had the Dinner Taster Menu....it was fantastic, loved everything. The staff are first class, helpful and knowledgeable. Extensive wine list to suit all tastes and pockets. We will definitely be visiting again.

Must try lunch too.

Visited the Jews House last night for the first time. Wow! If you love food, you need to go! We chose the a la carte menu. While we awaited our starters we were treated with some amazing bread and a little appetizer which was simply delicious. The following three courses were spectacular, the wine list is fabulous, there's a great selection of other drinks, and the service is the best we've ever experienced. We've visited from Norwich, and it's completed our lovely weekend in Lincoln.

Totally superb food, attentive and very knowledgable staff. Nothing was too much trouble and I'm a picky eater. The beef dish is to die for. Thank you.

Enjoyed an excellent meal here last night. Lovely building, beautifully decorated, knowledge and attentive staff, great lighting and lovely atmosphere. Loved the table centrepieces - little ceramic dark bowls with gold leaved interiors with tealights. Very interesting, seasonal and very well constructed menu complimented with well put together wine list with wines from around the globe. Not sure how this little gem is not in the Good Food Guide. It definitely should be!!

After dining at many fine dining restaurants we were pleased to come across the Jews house being so near to us in Horncastle. It was a wonderful atmosphere, food was delicious, the wine and recommendations on wines were excellent and complemented our food well and the staff were lovely and pleasant. We enjoyed ourselves!! A true gem in a beautiful building. This is a top class restaurant. The food is sublime and superior to anything else you will.find in Lincoln. An excellent wine list, lovely decor and friendly knowledgeable and efficient staff make this a very special place indeed.

A return visit to this amazing restaurant after more than 10 years (we moved away). Loved it then, love it now!
