Fabulous meal with my family last night. Both food & service were excellent...

Four of us went for Sunday lunch. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the lunch was cooked to perfection, served beautifully and really tasty. An added bonus (for us) is that it is a very dog friendly pub with dogs allowed in the bar area and in half of the restaurant. A very good experience.

Beautiful rooms with lovely decor and fantastic baths in all the rooms. Very comfy beds! Breakfast was fantastic and the staff were very welcoming and attentive. Wish we had taken our dog! Will definitely visit again!

A really nice environment in this tucked away place. We stopped for a late lunch and luckily got a place as it was very busy, but not overcrowded. The staff were friendly and helpful and looked after us perfectly. The fish and chips we had were massive and very tasty. Make sure you are hungry! The kids menu was great with decent sized portions of proper food and very good value. It's worth noting that they also offered half sized portions for kids from the adult menu, which is always a positive! Highly recommended if you are in the area and only 10 minute walk from a lovely beach if you need to work of the fish and chips!

My wife and I stayed one night and can highly recommend the accommodation and welcome received including a complimentary drink and cocktail mixture in the room. Sadly the evening meal was a real let down and both mains were sent back to the kitchen. We were not the only ones to complain that night. In fairness the cost of the meal was not charged but it ruined the whole experience when paying £ 140 B&B. The breakfast menu was very limited with no fresh fruit or options other than a cooked selection. To be rated 5* with gastro food the management need to raise their sights and significantly improve the eating experience.
The staff were very attentive. Just sort out the Kitchen !

Food was exceptional and presented really well with good portion sizes. The service between course was just a little slow but nothing too worry about. We just had kids to entertain so 30 secs felt like an hour ha ha.

Popped in for a quick drink after walkung the dogs at Low Newton. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a goid selection of real ale on tap. Sat outside in the beer garden area which had lots of drinking water for dogs. I would definitely recommend a trip to the Joiners Arms if you are passing or in the local area.

The pub is so nice , lovely food and the staff are so warm and welcoming!! Have 2 dogs and they were made welcome too !!

Nice place, couldn't get a meal as fully booked but they have a nice beer garden for drinks
