Well what can we say...that was an awesome night! And none of this would be possible without our brilliant staff ‘crew’ and all of you wonderful customers! We absolutely love running The Jolly and have more plans for a stonkingly fantastic 2019 but also would love to hear any ideas you think you’d like us to do! Thank you, thank you, you’re not just our customers you’re our big pub family, and together we’re going to make 2019 all of our year! What a wonderful, friendly place. Great food, great atmosphere and great staff. Definitely recommend you pay this place a visit if your in the area.

We used the jolly disherman for the first time today, we all had carvery, absolutely delicious, great choice of meats, will definitely back again.

Visited for a family carvery yesterday for the first time and will certainly be back! Really lovely, fresh, hot food-the potatoes were amazing! Will certainly be recommending and returning!

Very impressed. Arrived thinking we were going to get average food and a pint.

Left thinking I' going back again next time we visit the area. The food was far better than we expected and the pint of beer I had was perfect. Highly recommended

Our first visit to this great family friendly pub, attentive staff and we had a delicious (inexpensive) carvery for the family on mothers day. Looks like many changes occurring for the better! May need to book to avoid disappointment xx thank you

My mum and her friends came for a meeting at the pub today over lunch and said the food was amazing. Everyone was extremely helpful and friendly and she couldn't praise you highly enough! Great to have our local pub doing so well again. All down to the brilliant owners and staff. Thank you :-)

It's a good family pub with really good food. It has a bad reputation, but it has totally changed now. I recomend it to anyone. Entertainment is good too. Give it a try, you will not be disappointed.

I give the team here 5 stars because of the cleanliness of the ladies toilets. Also the carvery was the best I and two others with me have had in years. And the staff are friendly and attentive without pestering! Thank you for a lovely meal. We'll be back.

Had dinner today with friends. Good food, pleasant staff, excellent choice of meats and all the trimmings. Brilliant idea to extend the dining. Had a really lovely lunch with lovely fresh vegetables that had not been boiled to death. Will defiantly be returning. Xx

Had a lovely carvery at the jolly today just one thing you MUST leave room for pudding. If you haven't been for a while like us the jolly has had a make over including repositioning of restaurant which is really nice. Look for the rope light.

Had a roast here today the food was outstanding hot very tasty lovely people who run it lovely relaxed happy environment defo going back

Great pub with nice staff, good beer and excellent food!!..recommend booking for Sunday lunch. Watch out for some really good bands playing here too, there is always something going on at the Jolly!!

Great night Saturdays steak and shake night best steak I have every eaten Lee is truly the Gordon Ramsey of cooking on the fire pit.... Great pub, love it!!!

Gluten free food, perfect for me because I'm coeliac. Warm welcome and a game of pool. Will be back

Fantastic landlords, fantastic upgrades, wonderful food and the best entertainment around in this area.

Called in yesterday with a large group on our annual classic motorcycle rally for lunch, fantastic service and food we were all 50 of us very impressed, big thanks to Mel and all the staff for the wonderful hospitality.
